My family is thinking for a second car,
preferably 2nd hand SUV budget around 50k,
and is Ford Escape a good selection?

this is the requirement

1. Brand : Anything
2. Budget :50k
3. New/Used/Unreg : Used
4. Specs :
5. Transmission : Prefereblly Manual, Auto is also considered
6. NA or FI :
7. Type : SUV
8. Remarks :

U can opt for a used camry from 05 model n below. A 04 model 2.4cc cost around 80-85k range which suits ur budget.

Also considered the honda accord from 04-06 model (not the current one). I bet u can look below 100k as well.

It is a good SUV but if possible avoid the 2.0, underpowered as confirmed by one road tester i read in autocar asean. Considered the 2.3 but u may need to top up 10k more.

If possible, why not the honda CRV. the 2000 model is fetchable at below 50k

Torn between 3 cars. All second hand, need second opinions from u guys here.

1. Honda Civic 1.8, 2006 RM89k
2. Toyota Altis 1.6e, 2008 RM86k
3. Mazda 3 1.6 sedan, 2009 RM85k or Mazda 3 1.6 sedan, 2007 RM78k.

BTW,why the big difference between both M3?
And may i know, which bank offering the best second hand interest rate at the moment?

That only the price difference. Car value depreciate when yrs goes by.

If the 2009 M3 is possible by 85k, and checked n confirmed the car was serviced n under warranty by bermaz, then i take that. The used honda civic was bladdy overpriced and not worth it despite it is the best car among the 3.

I thought new Mazda 3 is about 130k? Sure so cheap?

That is mazda 3 2.0 that costs RM130k.

MAzda 3 1.6 costs about RM113k.

im interested in getting savvy AMT....but doin some search many said savvy got lotta problem with AMT line....interested in honda city IDSI, if im buying second is my budget within the price??...dont know how bout the honda maintenance?...help...

I dunno which model to take. anyone drove a peugeot 407 before? is it any good with any problems?
maintenance high? what about the parts? last i heard few years back for parts to come in, it takes about 3 months or so, does this still happen?

As for BMW, i am looking for the year 2000 to 2001 model. some people still selling for RM69k. is it still possible to look for about 65k and below? i heard their common issue is their gearbox. is it true? coz as far as i know the gearbox could cost about 4k >.< Oh, I would prefer either white or silver color... HID light is a value add

Pick the toyota corolla altis. Resale value n reliability is bullet proof for this car!

Pls back track a few pages more coz i stated quite a num of times tips for looking for a used waja. But i may recommend u go for the Mitsubishi engine not, not the campro.

Yes u can. U can use back ur previous job salary slip actually. Or if they ask for ur new job, give them ur offer letter. Let the loan officer settle for u.

Proton waja 2002-2004 is possible for ur range. Unless if u dont mind a used corolla from 2000 yr n below.

With ur budget u suited for the used savvy AMT. May well recommend u to get the used manual or if u want auto, get the kelisa auto instead.

R u sure u able to obtain both these cars with 40k? U willing to top up? I need to know ur exceed budget (inclduing ur car trade in value) so i can est how much u willing to spend.
