anyone can give some advise on getting which car is better??? parents buying new car next year gets to choose between:
1. myvi ezi yr 2009 (abs+airbag+ba)
2. waja 4g18 yr 2001 91k mileage (no airbag+abs+ba, need some repairing est rm5k tops)
both car nid to pay back father when i work next time.....
THANKs!

Stick with the 2009 Myvi.
Or if you don't mind the maintenance / services / repairing fee, then go for Waja then.
Btw, the answer isn't obvious?

Who would want to drive a car without the basic safety equipment? Like abs, airbag, etc

most of the time is myself only. Sometimes with will be with one or two person. Personally I've bad experienced with Korean car.. I used to drives a inokom atos and Kia sephia - the underpowered engine and massive fuel consumption. My job nature requires me to go out for meeting quite often, so I would want to get something that is good for FC.
Hi, i, myself also had bad experience on Korean car. It's a Ssangyong Rexton 290, the 2004 oldest generation. Underpowered, high FC, problematic transmission & 4wd transmission.
But then, those are older Korean cars.. Nowadays most of the NEWER generation of Korean car are giving good FC, with powerful engine. Like the Forte, 1.6 & 2.0 are putting out massive of horsepower.
But i'm unsure with the build quality since it's under Naza.
By the way, is RM30+- difference on petrol $$ matters for you?? If you're enough with the power of the new 1.5 Honda City, i don't see any objection on choosing that car.. It's more than enough for a daily-drive.. But there's someone who complaining the Honda City is slow, crampy, low top speed, can't dig chicks.

I personally sit on that Honda City before, the rear was quite comfort for me.. But it's quite cramp for the legs room..
Go for the Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0GT if it's within your budget, bigger car with bigger displacement engine. FC wise, it's actually depends on your right foot.. I have no comment on Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0GT since i have no experience on this car. Perhaps travis_ckf or someone else will give you a better advice on this car.
