Underpowered means the car doesn't have sufficient power to satisfy your needs. Like u're travelling alone with the Alphard 2.4, the power is just more than enough. But when u're travelling with 7 people in Alphard, the 2.4 just feel like don't want to move fast.. Get it?? 

You buy Starex, it's a new car. While Alphard u have to buy it as a used unit.
Some latest generation of Korean car serve very good FC, unlike the oldest generation of Korean car which is high maintenance and high FC.
You can get a BRAND NEW Starex with warranty, for only RM130k. You get an Alphard for 150k+, i assume it's an older model, which doesn't come with warranty (some dealer does provide warranty).
Why get a previous generation of Alphard when there's Vellfire and 2008 Alphard is around Malaysia?? Tell this to your uncle.. Poison him !

Better get your w210 serviced a.s.a.p... Try to check with your service manual to find out what does ESP means.. it is dangerous to drive a car witnout abs, especially doing hard braking without abs.
