Dunno is it possible to request for Linux OS from Dell.
Why they make it in a way that they are FORCING us to take their Windows? We are the one paying them marh. And I always believe money is always right. Heard anyone got Linux OS for Dell laptop? ADDON: If you were given chance to choose to get Office 2007 for Student or 3 years McAfee antivirus, which one will you go after? This post has been edited by giaogiao: Dec 7 2009, 10:09 PM |

well, in the early 2000s, Intel basically rebate OEMs billions of US$ if they agree not to use AMD in their systems at all...
some of those involved are HP, Dell, IBM.... |

Finally came out with last two choices. Both Dell. Don't dare go for BenQ S42, as I'm uncertain with their LCD quality. Dell gives me more confidence, I guess. Lots photog friends of mine using Dell. But it's External LCD monitor.

well, to be honest, BenQ's monitor is pretty good also... they have their own range of LCD monitors as well... in fact iirc they make their own LCD panel... Dell's ones (for the external ones at least) are from Samsung, and they make crappy ones at times...
if u insist on Studio 15, i would choose D2, but throw away McAfee... This post has been edited by astria: Dec 8 2009, 12:21 AM |

what we mean is throw it aways after u get the system .. McAfee is a resource hunger app.. its very bad for a paid security suite.. I'd recommend ESS4, NIS2010 and KIS2010 over it for paid security suite..
