dedicated is better than definitely in term of performance but it eats more battery life and produces more heat.
laptop can not be upgraded, just hdd and ram.
so buy the best component you can get and suit you.

if its not for gaming or gpu intensive program, intel gpu should be enough for hd movie and other task.

if want to game, g105m is not that powerful, for 3k would be dell studio 15, but its 15''.

in terms of performance, benq s42is the best for the given price.
asus u80v wins with its 2 year international warranty and slightly lighter weight.

By the end of year, new notebook can come out already.

lenovo y550 but for that price studio xps 16 is much better choice.

rm 2699 with t6600 unless you want to up to rm 3399 with p8700

too bad this time midday rush didn't offer studio 15

push until another rm 500? for benq s42 + windows

the gpu available for those is nvidia g105m, intel x4500mhd, ati hd4530, hd4330, hd3450. still below than dell's hd4570.

like that depends on the gpu vram being used in the toshiba since studio 15 is using GDDR3

studio 15 already confirmed by forumer here

well, nvidia for under 3k is not that decent,
nvidia 9600m gt is good for med gaming.
benq s42 has it, but cost rm 3250.
