dedicated is better than definitely in term of performance but it eats more battery life and produces more heat.
laptop can not be upgraded, just hdd and ram. so buy the best component you can get and suit you. if its not for gaming or gpu intensive program, intel gpu should be enough for hd movie and other task. This post has been edited by lee_what2004: Oct 20 2009, 12:35 AM |

if want to game, g105m is not that powerful, for 3k would be dell studio 15, but its 15''.

u80v is p8700 and hd4570 for rm 3599, if processor using t6500 is rm 3199

in terms of performance, benq s42is the best for the given price.
asus u80v wins with its 2 year international warranty and slightly lighter weight. |

the gpu available for those is nvidia g105m, intel x4500mhd, ati hd4530, hd4330, hd3450. still below than dell's hd4570.

isn't image editing is more on cpu? so better get intel?

well, nvidia for under 3k is not that decent,
nvidia 9600m gt is good for med gaming. benq s42 has it, but cost rm 3250. |
