Last time got once I send my phone to SIS because it kept misallign, then few days later they call me up and said my screen is scratched. Told me if want to fix need to change the touch screen and cost more than 800.

I've been using screen protector since the 1st day, so frustrated. Then they say if want proof they can disasemble the phone and show me because they said is at the side underneath the housing. Fed up I walkaway then have to go purchase another screen protector.

if you are a nokia fan, i have good news to tell you : nokia (or nokia associates) is working hard on their interface.

here's a preview: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/news/item/1...terface_loo.php

Here's a summary of price guesses i pulled from the earlier pages:
ineser - 3.3
Sylpheed - 3.299
cruzzmz -3.2
[+] - 3.0
Darkmage12 - 2.999
nghj - 2.7
~Rogue~ - 2.6

looks like i'm looking over-optimistic here..  sad.gif

of course if ppl want something around 2k or lower, the f1, or also known as the s200 neotouch is also a good choice.

neotouch still maintain the resistive touchscreen, good for handwriting which hd2 suck at.
in terms of hardware, they are almost the same.
but don't forget, software is also important.
ppl might have to go putting spb mobile shell in neotouch to improve the usability.

also, the built quality is not as good as HD2 and some have called the body 'plasticky'.
so ppl might have to consider that they've paid 2k for good hardware inside but the outside feels and looks like the phone might be worth much more cheaper.

i'm not saying the neotouch is not good, but i jz wanna highlight the few drawbacks that come with the lower price.

well said well said. either way i'm probably staying away from both, until there's a front cam, a smaller screen (HD2 wont fit in my pocket) and maybe qwerty. or something which the SNAPDRAGON can really show off with. from what i see with PS games for example, the difference is sort of negligible. yea there's improvements, but nothing to really make me go gaga yet.

i'm afraid if next year there's an iphone with front cam, the SNAPDRAGON may be too little, too late. but i'll wait and see.

i probably wanna do some FPS test between the SNAPDRAGON and QUAKE 3. lol, so when anyone here buys the device can we maybe meet up to do some field tests? haha

wanna highlight some camera problems in case some of u dont know

QUOTE
The picture quality is good with enough resolved detail and natural colors. On many of the images we noticed an abnormal pink tint to the whites dead center – just like a spot. It’s it’s more visible at thumbnail size and it’s certainly a flaw of the camera but we’re not really sure if it’s a unit-specific issue (ours is a retail handset off the store shelf, not some pre-production unit). There is a bit of over sharpening too.

If you dont like this camera quality, pls check before buying.
it's only very obvious during certain conditions like when taking white objects or in low light.
if you are taking scenery with lots of green, a bit reddish/pinkish is not obvious.

Some say that it might be solved with newer ROM, or the units need to be replaced.
Some say their units no problem (or they didnt notice)!

Anyway, you can test on the spot to see if this happens, just focus on a white background.
the pink spot will even appear on the screen before taking picture or
you can check the picture after you take it to see if its there.

Yup, the "red tint" of camera photos is a known issue, seems to most apparent when used in auto mode, and can be reduced by using Outdoor/indoor modes etc:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=584675

HTC's camera really is consistently disappointing smile.gif

Even the prototype/preview version of Xperia X10 camera is miles ahead:
