i am kinda new to windows mobile...but my uncle has an hd2 and i would love to install bsb tweaks for him...i go to the xda forum and found the file is at .cab format...i wonder how should i install it to the hd2? i would love to have alittle bit of tutorial regarding install .cab files if anyone could give me
*
simply copy the cab file over your HD2 storage card , browse the installation cab file using File Explorer then execute the cab installation file from your HD2.

just plug in the phone via usb connectivity. Make sure you have active sync in the pc. then double click on the CAB file. It should run the file and install sync on the windows mobile device.

Check which version of windows you're running, I'm not sure on vista or 7, but in XP, you will need to download it from microsoft. It's free btw.

sigh.. i thought of getting the Omnia II before hearing the news of the HD2, but after playing with the Omnia II, im so disappointed with it.. lousy speed, bad interface, lags alot, Samsung did alot of customization to the original WM interface which made it so not user friendly (i don't even know how to make the bluetooth visible!) , they even use the black colour theme which makes some software not compatible (unless you change it to a white theme). everything is bad on the Omnia II IMO. 800Mhz? i feel that it is running on a 400 Mhz processor, even my cruise is faster than that doh.gif

check on the error item and get it resolved, most probably the file was still open when sync is in progress.

Any previous iphone 3gs user bought the htc hd2? Need your advise compare this with iphone 3gs.

Check up www.mobilehornet.com for comparison ( Msian perspective ). I also have a iphone but since day one never like it ( maybe is me only ) as I need a more serious business phone. I find the iphone is more suitable for its multimedia ( esp if you download podcasts, audio books an need sync with iTunes ) and browsing functions

There is a never end debate which is better - I feel it boil down to personal needs

Is the red tint camera issue has been rectified?
*
YES ' the pinkish tinge no more there. Just run the exe file directly from your phone

SMS issue : NONE at all sofar except experienced it once only with one sms while in Spore ; subsequent SMS out from same spot was sent/recieved immediate. I have my HD2 since 26 Nov. Reading thro several forums on this issue it is not repetitive [ you have also users claimimg no such problems. Anyway a hotfix will be good. I have recommended in earlier post not to sent SMS directly from the homescreen - use All Messages/Menu/New etc - to have nore confidence ? However even without using this step I still have no such SMS issue

Possible SMS sending problems fix ? This CAB file did by Zenkinz of Mobinauts ( our Spore neighbour PDA website) based on the files extracted from Rom 1.6

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=599339

Those having problems please test and report back at his post above

hi, i'm new here, sorry for my broken english.

First, i'm done with the messaging part of hTC sense interface. device stuck atleast 10 seconds to reply a sms. link fb account to contact sometimes jam the device and require a reset/restart. all these happen are because of shitty hTC messages and hTC people(sms show in conversations that can't be disable). i have over 3000 sms and never had any problem even on elfin.

i love the concept but the buggy hTC sense(currently) doesn't make any sense at all.

anyone trying the 1.61 rom, is the sms problem fix? currently running patch from xda-developers that disable hTC Messages. (thanks to the patch, else i will sell the device.)

the sms the only complain to hd2, the device is charming and attractive and the build quality is really good. i was worry about the size b4 i own it, but now i feel that my old touch 3g is really small, all the contents are squeeze in a 2.8'' screen and feel not comfortable to read.

anyone facing "ghost typing" issue?

i bought it from bruceleestore as well.

Apple's way of forcing people to do it their way. you can't even move pictures between folders. All pictures downloaded from safari ends up in camera roll.
doh.gif shakehead.gif . Not to mentioned the lousy battery.

8 hours browsing is a blessing, laptops and some net books can't achieve such good stamina with great mobility thumbup.gif
