had this baby for almost 5 days now, and totally in love with it.
has made me fall in love with windows mobile again.

with regards to the pink hue issue, yeap it's there but since it's going to be rectified in a firmware update, it doesnt bother me much.
i dont think it's a dealbreaker in terms of deciding to get this phone or not.

this phone is a beast. and the most powerful thing out there at the moment. there's no denying that.

here's some samples of pics i took at Midvalley today. pink hue is quite evident.

nice pic quality except for the pink hue.. its okie la.. im sure they will rectify it with a new hot fix or firmware upgrade. I remember when i first got my nokia n95, it had the same problem. After 2 months, nokia issued a firmware upgrade and the pink was gone smile.gif

the pink hue issue is hit & miss scenario.
some pix are OK. some don't. that makes
me believe it's software issue and not
hardware. going to wait until
HTC sort it out. then only consider to
replace my i780.

hahaha..thanks smile.gif smile.gif

after using it most of today i have 2 comments. Firstly, it is the best I have ever had. No regrets at all. smile.gif

Secondly, the only thing I'm a bit slack about is battery life. Maybe cos I was using the omnia hd before this. Not that big a deal la. just takes some adjusting and getting used to.

But I absolutely LOVE this phone smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif

Try turning off all your auto connection and disable 3G connection. Only able 3G when you want it. That would improve battery life; that is my experience with HTC HD.

Battery life is okay for me, I bought the Xpal energi-to-go to support. So it's additional 8000mah wherever i am

Very hard to get Micro USB, tried looking for it last weekend at Lowyat Plaza but no one seems to be carrying it. You can pay more and buy the transfer cable for Blackberry Storm though, it's basically the same. But quite costly, around 30-40 bucks

Added on December 5, 2009, 5:45 pmi bought mine at freshgear chup piau generic brand rm30. If you were to look for original HTC unit - it will costs you close to RM 60-80. Anyway generic types are usually good enough
