Wanna ask the realtek 1073dd+ & 1283+ the only different is one without recording and one with recording function?

When talking this kind of media player, normally ppl will download those movies on internet illegally, any other way to use these devices legally?

Either you buy those movies from others or dl them personally are all illegal. Even though you might have the original DVD/BD to rip into mkv or BD iso, it is legal when you keep them to yourself only for backup purpose and not to share with others. So to answer your question, other than you watch your media file that backup from your original media, or some movie clips that you take on wedding, birthday parties via your phone/digicam etc, there is no way you can use it legally... My 2 cents. |

I heard that sigma 8655 chipset is better than all realtek chipset, what is the special features? Because i found that realtek 1283 can do recording but sigma 8655 don't have recording function and sigma media player always more expensive than realtek one.
