My com is GLC wo. You know how play tai-chi and screw your own boss and he still you are angel to him.

If you can then join GLC la. No above skills need not apply.

after i read all the replies here...i found that most of us asking ...do i underpaid?
actually the salary always not satisfy one...if now u earn 2k, u will think if my salary is 3k then i can save a lot but actually u spend more...

when u in 3k level, u will think if my salary 4k, i can buy vios or city. so where is the ending?

to me, boss not so stupid, they pay u 4-5k, they expect u return to them more...

when my salary 2k and fresh grad that time....usually go back home after 6pm and spend my time with my gf and frens...

that time i think if i earn 2.5k, i think i can buy national car already...somemore no prospect at first company....so jump lor...manage to get 2.4k.....after brought the car, u save less than u earn 2k....

currently i earn around 3.5k, and yes, my financial is better but my life is damn miserable...workload a lot ...1 person do 2-3 person job...no choice, i don't want to jump so early...i don't want my bad record in my resume

i feel i rather work around 2-2.5k to spend more time doing my business preparation and also my family and frens...

what i can say, don't envy your friends that they got better pay ...try to think y not you compare with those get rm600 per month...

try to think we r lucky we get the job now...some no job also....no need envy, when your time is come, you will get the reward...

How I come no need to work so hard one...
Everyday can go home early....increment 500 - 1K every yr.
bonus guarantee dapat.. But i sure cannot compare la...I join GLC ma..hehe...
There i susch thing as free lunch in this world...Trust me....The WORLD IS UNFAIR....

Let's do some simple calculations here.

In Malaysia, the average family income is RM3,000 /month (where father works, mother doesn't). I understand there are many families whose monthly income does not reach RM3,000, but, to make things simple, let's take RM3,000 as the figure. Ok lah, right?



Okay, let's start rolling with a family which has Papa, Mama, 1 daughter and 1 son.

Ngam-ngam...



Calculation starts...



Electricity and water bill: RM100

(No air-con, No home theatre, No water heater ... ok?)



Phone bill (Telekom): RM100



Meals for a happy family: RM775

(3 meals on RM25/day, RM25 for 4 persons...?)



Papa makan / teh-tarik during working hrs: RM155

(RM5/day, RM5 ... can eat what?)



Car repayment: RM400

(A proton saga aeroback, 7 yrs repayment)



Petrol (living in city, traffic-jam): RM300

(go to work, bring son to school, only can afford one car running)



Insurance: RM650

(kids, wife and myself)



House repayment: RM750

(low cost housing repayment for 30 yrs, retired still have to work to pay!)



Tuition: RM80

(got that cheap meh? i don't think so)



Older children pocket money @ school: RM20

(RM1/day, eat bread?)



School fees: RM30

(enough ah?)



School books and etc: RM100

(always got extra to pay in school)



Younger children milk powder: RM50

(cannot have the DHA, BHA, PHA one, expensive)



Miscellaneous: RM100

(shampoo, rice, sauce, toilet paper)



Oh wait!!! I have to stop here, so... No Astro, no movie @ cinema, no DVD, no CD, no online, cannot KFC, cannot McDonald, cannot go Park walk during weekend (petrol expensive), no chit chat on phone with grandparents, and etc...



Let's use a calculator to total up... WALAO EH! Shit! RM3,610 already...

EPF belum potong, income tax lagi........oledi RM3,610...



How to survive lah tuan-tuan dan puan-puan sekalian???

How to change? Don't eat? Don't work? Don't send children to school and study?



Besides that, I believe in Malaysia population, there are millions of rakyat Malaysia which still don't earn RM3,000/month!!!

Somemore nowaday we kept reading newspaper saying that company complaint that giving fresh grad >RM 1200 is actually meant a lot... haihz...

Said we got attitute problem and not willing to learn.. All BS excuses seriously. I am very sure majority of us got the right attitute and pretty much eager to learn. but at least give an slightly better wages to compesate what we deserve.

We got parents on top of us and we need to pay for our expenditure like food and transport also..

by adding up both income, a happy family will appear;

Of course I cannot tell la as much as I wanted to.
So many GLC in Malaysia. A GLC does not need be a Bumi com as long as it is dealing with government project. That is why is it called GLC.

with 4 yrs ++ of working experience, engineering level sommore, the only thing i can get is 2.8k salary with O allowance.......

Aikss... i also working 4+ near 5 years as IT field also havent rich 3K :-s sigh !
