i think i'm being underpaid...2 of my colleagues who came in about 6 months after me got a better increment than i did and now they are earning more than me, mainly because they were given more important tasks (i.e tasks-that-can-cause-a-substantial-increase-in-salary-once-the-CEO-knows-about-it). one of them left anyways to earn more...i'm just about ready to jump ship at any moment...

currently the company is using vb6 and asp (using interdev 6.0)...there's no plan for upgrading to a .net platform...and since there's not much demand from clients, there's not much work for me to do...so i'm stuck in a rut...

i myself am studying c#, asp.net and vb.net...

i'm from philippines, my company is from there, they just deployed me here, and the 4k is a standard $35 a day allowance.
