I dont know how to state this but this is another case where the title been abuse by the market.

IMHO, the actually phase should be "trainee".

Btw "Employment Level : Executive" suddenly make CEO sound punnyl  rolleyes.gif  rolleyes.gif  rolleyes.gif

No hard feeling arrr...

Just want to make the statement truth only la cause lots of freshy may refer here.

As "ta kung chai" we should be releastic about actual position instead of hype by those marketing stuff but we do can have all sort of title (actual position dif from title, two dif story smile.gif ). I find lots ppl may in market especially freshy got confuse liau.

Job Title : Software Engineer
Job Desciption : Programming, Analysing, Testing
Job Responsibilities : programming and testing till my eyes bleed
Company : Non Listed
Industry : various, mostly government
Tenur : permanent
Employment Level : exec
Experience before joining : 0
Education: degree in IT
Duration with current company: almost 3 years
salary : RM 1900++, unlimited claims, limited medical coverage...claims are a moot point anyways, since they don't send me ANYWHERE!!

i think i'm being underpaid...2 of my colleagues who came in about 6 months after me got a better increment than i did and now they are earning more than me, mainly because they were given more important tasks (i.e tasks-that-can-cause-a-substantial-increase-in-salary-once-the-CEO-knows-about-it). one of them left anyways to earn more...i'm just about ready to jump ship at any moment...

currently the company is using vb6 and asp (using interdev 6.0)...there's no plan for upgrading to a .net platform...and since there's not much demand from clients, there's not much work for me to do...so i'm stuck in a rut...

i myself am studying c#, asp.net and vb.net...

why'd you ask?

i asking what language u used in ur work smile.gif
