Manufacturing company in general were not really appreciate IT/MIS dept. Sorry to say but its a fact in this line. unless.. UNLESS when something that threaten their operation system occurs, then they will realize how important IT/MIS dept.
BUT you have the experiance and you can do alot trial n error, they can afford that...

may i know where is your location? RM950 seems to be quite low...

Come'on in other countries IT professional earn more, our IT industry is not tat good.

I agree with you that manufacturing company general not appreciate IT/MIS dept...my boss is extremely miser...waiting for the increment is very hard...I am looking for other job now...hopefully will get one soon...cannot stand anymore...

So Utopia, did you manage to at least prepare a list of job and the salary from this much members sharing their salary info here? If can, add the list into your first post so that we can at least get a general salary for each different job function...

Its a good pay considering ure a fresh grad without any experience.Its hard to get a job nowdays.
