@tink, I have already stated that it is not made known to the public how they select their loyal members. They do it at their whims and fancies. You just have to grunt it out, like the majority of us, that's all.

16GB or 32GB ??

last week still got 32gb on the spot...

I was about to voice the same sentiment but knowledge is power and some people just want to show that they are powerful but wait, could it just be pseudo power?

Still wondering if u sign up for idata plan RM30,is it no contract on that..and i have to pay for the iphone for RM2490 ??? Anyone can clarify this ??

i think, by signing up for idata plan only is considered as buying via prepaid plan + data plan.
Therefore that's an outright purchase which they are not available right now until further notice.

some maxis dealer got 16gb stock but dont want to sell off,Why? becos they want to sell the phone with maxis contract AND YET
TRADE IN WITH UR HIGH END PHONE WITH low price.and u dont trade phone with them,no way the sell to u.
i ever offer my wife se k750I ...and they were not interested to trade my phone....argg...@%$%@%*&#
i even offer extra $$100 rm to sign up with their plan...ANSWER also no.

Ya true idata plan rm30 no need contract and buy the phone for Rm2490 but its an outright purchase..
Since they have shortage on the production of iphone, they wouldn't want to sell it without contract unless they are many units available.

idata 3 is as good as prepaid plan because no contract is attached.... it's consider as outright purchase which is currently not available....

but prepaid plan is the best since it give 500mb....but sadly not available for the time being...my gf managed to buy iphone 3g 8gb with hotlink plan last september....

now my turn to buy iphone 3gs...but no stock & must tied with contract summore....

my turn to head down to pavillion soon to book mine under ivalue 1.so confirm there waiting period for 16gb is 30 - 45 days?

You guys can try Maxis Centre Sunway Pyramid. My friend walked-in and queued up for 1 1/2 hour, over the weekend.

ya,I juz book mine 16gb 3gs today,they said minimum time is 45days and maximum is 2 month..really =__="... since i have alrdy book mine,but haven't choose the plan yet, I will try to take RM30 idata plan. see what r they going to say..hehe~

they allow booking without choosing a plan 1st? .but as far as i noe idata need to be tied to a postpaid acc since the no contract package is stopped

i will head down thr soon to book mine with ivalue 1,to see wheter they gv me the same waiting period.if i can get the phone faster,means maxis gv more priority to contract customers

haha~but i juz now also sign up a new maxis line cuz i dun have it , but the guy said juz put me in RM30 plan until the iphone reach then i choose which Iplan i want...they said the duration i almost dilema there...hope can be faster la..

But he did record what and which plan i want in the first place.
I took iValue2, then he write it down in my form..

I've given up and have come to conclusion Maxis is only good at getting new customers, not retaining old ones *smiles* Anyhow, am not interested with whatever promotion they're having on the iPhone. Honestly, I don't think it's a good time to get it right now - in 6 months time, there's gonna be a brand new model out

I was just kiddin; personally one can never catch up with technology - based on Apple's track record, I'm expecting the next iPhone (whether it's 4G or not, I dunno lah!) to be released mid 2010
