crap..I sent an email to maxis last night. Then they called me today, i asked them to check whether is there stock for me. The panel juz ask me to wait till 30days until the KLCC Maxis call me or send an email to me. I have waited for 3weeks. They so lazy to check for me???? Should I try walk-in check?or juz wait till 30days and wait for delay as well?

when you book yours?? just wait until 30days.

I think what most forummers are concerned about is that maxis said "you will get your phone WITHIN 30 days", not "you will get your phone AFTER 30 days". Hence, when the deadline is drawing nearer, we will definitely feel more 'kan cheong' that maxis has not contacted us yet.

I just came back from Maxis Sunway Center today. I was told that I have to wait for next week if I want to collect my iPhone because the current stock they are holding are for customers who registered until the end of August. So for those who had registered for iPhone in August but has yet to get their iPhone, you can go and collect it now.

I registered for iPhone on 7th September. (Sunway Maxis Center)

I also got my iphone today. May I know your iphone serial number starts with what? Just the first 5 digits will do.

Just sharing so that we dont end up getting a refurbished phone.

They called me this morning after I sent 2nd email 2 days ago and said will call me again.
If tomorrrow no call, I will email them again.

hi all, i just came back from work, but today at 7.30pm i went to maxis klcc to ask about my iphone 3gs white, which was booked on the 5th of sept. the sales person told me that the iphone 3gs is still unavailable, maybe will take another 14 days. i was so tired, plus my wife is waiting for me, dont have the 'appetite' to argue or do anything, dont know what to say anymore. i'm just tired...

ahaa, and they told me that i can cancel my booking if i still do not get my phone after 45 days waiitng *sigh

finally, after 36 days wait, i got my 3gs 16GB black. Received a call from maxis this morning. went there after 1 hour.

Booking date: 1 Sep 2009
Collection date: 6 Oct 2009
Place: Maxis Centre Ipoh

I saw at least 5 people besides me who come and collect their 3gs. I guess there's a batch of stock coming in today.

Oh, btw, my gf also got her 16GB white at the same time.

Finally...

i think book where also same now ... 30 days min ...

i ordered from orange on 29th sept... a week already, everyday feel so long waiting for it

lol..everyday u will sure feel nervous and keep on check all the news bout iPhone..haha..

Maxis is making fun of us now...

first phone that i wanted that needed to wait for 30months.. all my h/p no need to wait, the stock is ready.. but Apple iPhone =.=" like we are taking free phone from them

any day soon tat celcom/digi roll out comparable plan...
i ll definitely switch after 12 months....

it is not that we cant wait for the day to come....
Customer feeling always has to be concerned of...
the least u can do...is to may b send out sms, or update on the website or news that stock is not available, and don commit a date if u cant deliver it

committed to customer, and failed to make it...then giving excuse...yet not properly deliver msg to customer....

such thing can onli happen in malaysia, where customer never been bother of. Malaysia boleh

understand from your post, celcom / digi will come out new plan for use with iphone ?

i don really think celcom / digi dare to take the business of iPhone..spoil reputation thanks to Apple INC. hahaha...

celcom already has its own 3G data plan...but quite expensive too
Digi currently giving the 3G as broadband....
but heard tat soon they gonna integrate to cellular for tat too.... "Digi 3G postpaid"
giving that in UK the sole distributor rule has been broken from O2 with the joining of Orange

i believe if here going to break, Digi looks good in getting it...after all, their main target customer base is the one that use most on mobile data service...
probably the onli fall back is again the line reliability and area availability
