How come booked on 16th September so fast got the phone? I booked on 19th September, at Maxis Center Sunway Pyramid too. Still no yet receive any call and email... should I call them or walk-in to ask?

My experience: Dropped by this morning, said nicely that I would like to collect my phone. Maxis guy at the ticket machine asked for my receipt, and compared to a print-out list of customers eligible to collect. Found out that I am from Batch 9 (the latest I think), while the customer list goes back to Batch 5! Each Batch is the customers who signed up in a week. Shortly proceeded to collect my new toy.

In short, if you have waited more than 3-4 weeks (and maxis still did not call yet), do drop by the centre and ask for the phone nicely (seriously, asking nicely helps). BTW, before that I had called customer care 123 four times, and each time they promise to call me back, but (surprise, surprise) I never heard from them.

I encountered similar problem while waiting for my iphone 3GS, have to get to 123 to check on status or walk in to the branch which you selected for collection. those customer service fellow always give empty promise to call back and upadte status once they check with the branch.

i had collected my iphone on 23/9, and this foolish maxis sent me a sms yesterday informing me to collect my iphone 3gs....

i dropped the email one....
same reason again lo....lol

probably i ll jz walk-in on 15 Oct directly to Maxis KLCC...

Tomorrow will going to be the due date of my 30days waiting period. As i was booked on 8th Sept, guess i will follow ya step and approach the counter and ask them politely 1st. All these awhile i never pushed them before, only lodge 2 email before.. 1st mail send like last week and they feedback to me on the next day. The girl told me when i had reached the maturity date, just go the center where i had placed my booking and ask about it.

There are customers who gets their GS sets within 2 weeks OR less.

i booked on 8th at same place, tried my luck on 6th but ended empty hand go back. Maxis guy told me to wait another week! btw which value plan you took?

iData2 for me. Maybe you can try again, because he told me the new list just came out (so new he hadn't even printed it out yet). Hope that helps!

I got a call from Machines Sunway yesterday. They had managed to locate a unit for me and it will be on its way soon! Hopefully by the end of the week. Finally, after 2 months. I can return my substitute phone. So thrilled right now. (:

did u get the 16gb or 32gb? cos i helped my friend check. he booked 16gb 2 weeks before i boooked my 32gb. when i went there yesterday, they told me 16gb not ready

Guys, just got called by Maxis. For those in Kuching that make their booking a week before / after 8th, probably u guys will able to get ya phone fastest by this Friday / Saturday.

The guy that call me up just now told that, he had called Kuching center today and get to know that they is quite of few batch of iPhone is coming in. And they are doing the data input now. Fastest by this Friday they will released the phone already. Hope this information helps for those who had booked in Kuching Center!

Haaa... They didnt return the booking fees?

They will not return you your booking fees, unless you have waited more than 45 days for your iPhone and there is no indication of whether when you can get, then under that circumstances, Maxis will refund you.

1 more thing, i subscribe iData 3.. i still didnt get my iPhone yet, can i still change the package into iData 2??

I just got the iphone 32GB today at Maxis KLCC. Thats after I emailed them saying my waiting day already 46 days and I rather get the 32GB White if 16GB White is not available.

Should be alright. Tell them you want to change your plan when you get to collect your iPhone
