lwliam: On the contrary, SSS is active no matter what shutter speed. You can hear the rumble at 1", and if you turn it off when using the beercan at 1/50s your pictures will appear to have double images due to handshake. So yes, SSS is always working.
clivengu: It appears that your F2.8 sensor is touching the outer part of the box. (It's the size of the spot metering circle.) If you notice, the closer you go to the test chart, the more accurate your focusing. Am thinking of having a TT in PJ next week, with hopefully a nice agenda, so we'll test your lens then. Haha, nice catch! shootkk: I would have guessed it to be 50mm - it is neither wide nor tele in perspective. Though, the WB is a bit blue - you'll want to set Daylight WB when cranking up the DRO Level 5 juice. Kul | Mo0: Am glad to see you have a finetuned lineup (again?) |

So is that means the A700 sensor has misalignment or the lens? The test result.. im not sure how to judge... Yeah d more closer i go.. d more accurate the focusing... tats wat i find.. Haha, nice catch! (Well. d Bigger the subject filing up d frame)....I'll give it a test.. if i try put my focusing subject slightly lower than the Spot bracket n see how it goes.. Lets arrange a TT next week!.. pls not this week.. hehe cause im just bout to catch flight now going back hometown.. n only b back kl this sat night |

QUOTE(millenia3000 @ Oct 7 2009, 08:22 AM) not sure about the price... but its a Sigma 30mm f1.4.... there's another chun lens at about this range which is the Sony 35mm f1.4G Ronnie, Sony does not have a 30mm f1.4. It has 35mm f1.4G or the 30mm f2.8. You can read albnok's past review here: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1157262/+1000 |

QUOTE(invisibl3boyz @ Oct 6 2009, 04:32 PM) A question here....y do most ppl think sony slr is lame?for example i take on wat happen on few days ago...there was ths guy who kind of expert in photography, most of his picture is quite impressive,he is fren of my cousin....and so i jz say to my cousin if gt chance..maybe i can learn some from him. thn he said to my cousin and my sister(i wasnt there), If i want learn ..can....but if use Sony cannot learn from him...... aiseh... the usual story again?? hmmm... QUOTE(millenia3000 @ Oct 6 2009, 04:50 PM) eh but bray... just an opinion la... using a higher f number, then firing flash on WL with the wide diffuser at 1/2 or 1/1 would give that dimmed background effect thingy that'll prolly make the photo a lil more interesting kan... like that lagi la kena smacked by grandma.QUOTE(kysham @ Oct 6 2009, 06:48 PM) Wow... had not beein in the lowyat orange thread since.... v27? Welkam bek bro! long time no see..Anyway, share 1 photo taken at KLCC. Yes, the one place in KL where everyone had taken a photo of it before. Hahaha.... But just to share, cause this is one of the last photo set from my A700 & SAL1118. No more A700 & SAL1118 after that.... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « cheers! Going to get this soon for this coming sunday SONY event in Melaka... 35mm on aps-c camera is like using a 50mm lens. for example if you are eating at a restaurant, and you want to shoot someone who is eating at the next closest table, using 50mm would be too close (ie have to move furthur away) but you might just get by if us the 35mm) QUOTE(suchap69 @ Oct 7 2009, 11:20 AM) hi all does anyone know what's the street price for SAL 18-55 SAM? can't find the price on first page info. or does anyone wanna sell theirs? isnt SAL1855 SAM the new kit lense for a5x0? maybe nobody has it yet? |
