Yeah but to become a bokehmon like you need a flash and prime lens. But then again cjlai's macro shoot are very tempting (He even told me need both raynox and sp90 to get the best result) .That already translates around 2k++ of purchase . sweat.gif

Any here my wife thinks that is a good thing that i am moved my vice from collecting toys to photography. Oh how wrong she is laugh.gif

I see.i thought only 50mm f.14/1.8 are consider as a prime lens. 90mm also falls under the same group eh? laugh.gif Raynox already got from sifu mitmivec when i started with lx3 i was thinking of selling it of for sp90 funding tho.

as long as the focal length is fixed..it shd b consider as prime..

infact..alot of my danbo photos(around 80% i would say) were taken by sp90....i choose it bcoz it allows me to focus my subject in very close distance(its a macro anyway)..so actually alot of the bokehs u saw in my stream were created by sp90..

i have a 50mmF1.4..but i don use it as often as my sp90(to shoot toy)..bcoz its too wide and the toy is too small..lol..if i use 50mm and cannot focus close enough..its gonna introduce alot of unwanted space in the frame.....

nv use any teleconverter b4..but its a lil bit soft imo...

i feel that with 30s exposure..the street lights at the bottom is kinda too bright compare to the lights from the building on top...u might wanna add in some filter to darken the light at the bottom a lil to make it more balanced?? or use the "black card" trick..

achew, enlighten me more on the black card trick..

Lets use the example that ranceed did.

If u use the black card as a 2nd shutter, basically u agak agak where the lights gonna be? then cover up say... half the lens?
edit: wa.. nice edit!

if u hav liveview...b4 u shoot..u can always see it thru ur LCD..so u can agak there how much u shd cover..timing wise..have to trail n error..or thru ur experience..jsut shake the card constantly n move it so that u wont leave any "mark" at any point of the photo..

actually myself is kinda inexperience on this trick..jsut happen to hear 1 of my maintenance guy mention about it..the concept shd be like a GND..jsut that this one is manual..more troublesome..but it gives u more control since its not fixed...

hi all

does anyone know what's the street price for SAL 18-55 SAM? can't find the price on first page info.

or does anyone wanna sell theirs?
*
It's not sold separately yet, but you can try and PM destful or marushin, if not mistaken, they're both selling that lens. but remember that both are 2nd hand items.

blackcard trick is manual HDR. lol.

it's today machine has those high end HDR, in the film age, we use filter and blackcard trick(poorer ones that cant afford filter).

today's videography still use skylight ND filter. (watch topgear, u will notice, they use it often when shoot at low angle)
