Titan for our vios07 is 2.6K .
if u ask me Recommended? best deal for Invert monotube suspension local can offer.
Other brand that depend ... if budget issue ... then skip just drive standard suspension ... save the money 1st.

upgrade sport spring is just waste of money and it also kill your shock.

when you start to use suspension that offer Invert monotube technology you will not twin tube or other shock ...

You wont regret changing to ps3 195/55/15 becos a lot quieter than the oem until u can hear the engine sound only n less on tire sound , secondly more grip but for fc still dont know yet becos i have just change it for only 2 days.

yes can say comfort range is just abit stiff like 30% increase... but if u try to compress the shock .. the stiff level is about 100% stiffer some gal dint complain much of the stiff ride.

if you compare to other brand u will feel bounce abit this is due to the shock is using twin tube and only able to respond the big big things bit those small small things dont have much respond to the shock...

next TT, dont know yet... if u wan choose some road that can simulate our day to day use ... to feel the comfort level and the handling respond... or u wand we can have a road trip ... example subang to cheras on highway and then some town road ... if u wan some hard corner attack ... got place but do you dare to ride?

Just change my battery for 2 days, was very scare the very first place becos change from outside not from toyota sc, worry becos it might not start or timing run out. In fact it can start but the timing was out for a short distance n back to normal after few kilometer drive, timing out becos cant go high rev n very low rev ( 450+ rpm ) when the car is station n the whole sterling is shacking but luckily the timing was back to normal. My battery is 26 months old, worry it might con out anytime so change it toghther with new sets of PS3 195/55/15 tyres. Question is , can anyone related their incident about their car battery change.

If u comparing pricing, i have to admit the naza forte 2.0 brings the best value compared the vios TRD. For additional 1-2k can get u a 2.0 C segment car with a world class engine while the vios is a tried n tested old 1.5cc engine.

Yet again, that on paper. Check around the naza forte thread here n u can see ppl crying in agony waiting for the 2.0cc due to low supply. I can see the majority now is 1.6cc which still IMHO a better value than buying the vios/city.

Naza's reputation in aftermarket sales remains a question due to lots of ppl having a bad experience when sending their cars to naza for servicing. I do heard UMWT servicing is bad but from my experience with my vios, i have good experience with my aftermarket by UMWT. Maybe there a few forte owners are lucky their car is in good shape n well serviced by Naza.

Yet again, i still prefer the vios over the forte as i actually prefer the vios more. The vios edge the forte over reliablity, fuel economy and acceleration but will loses out in handling but that can be fixed with after market suspensions. The vios resale value is undeniablity good but the forte is questionable.

Also, that just me, i like the white vios with bodykit more than a car which named "Killed in Accident". Well, that just me. sweat.gif

So this thread serves for vios owners to discuss issues on their cars, and if u want to point out other cars are better, this is not the correct place to be.

+1 if you have nothing to say please get off... thanks... here is for Vios discussion...

we agree tat Forte is cheap and looks good but the reliability is still a big question mark of course the others point that bro Travis said also... if u can survey properly a Vios only cost you about RM70k (After convert from Aus Dollar) including their tax and stuff but ours is RM90k with 30k tax how about others RM60k for cars??? there is another RM20k for UMW or their ppl pocket $$$, FYI some middle east selling Vios at RM50k only... tongue.gif and of course our Waja or Personal at RM40k only (Full Spec)

dickong, i'm not understand what you means "timing run out", can explain more sad.gif

i had changed my car battery last month at outside shop, not Toyota SC. My car was off when changing time, the man quickly replaced it and said it was no problem if took out the old battery for a short time (less than 20 second). After replaced it, can start my car and did not have any problem wor like you have mentioned above sterling is shacking & cant go high rev....

at first i also feel scare like you, doubt the car immobilized when take out the battery in engine off condition. tongue.gif

The sterling shacking becos the rpm was at 450+ n the whole car cant go above 80kmh becos cant go high rev even but luckily after a few km drive its back to normal. I think most probably the whole timing was restart if i am not mistaken. I mean the ECU system restart

i think gov give lower tax for cars distibuted by naza, same like peugeot car, that why their selling price so attractive.

Hmm now decided to stick with my 15 inch as i still quite impressed n happy with my stock bridgestone potenza.

Thinking of getting Titan adjustables then later go for 195/55/r15 michelin PS3.

vios2002, so how much u got ur titan? Recommended? tongue.gif
*
change to TITAN sure no regrets (i'm using TITAN in my wira), u get what u pay... summore with michelin PS3, but u know right TITAN also hv normal abs n spring for OEM replacement? most their luxury car customers use that, its serviceable n comfort with a bit lowered compare standard..

actually, potenza re080 is not that grip tyre, just ok with less noise tyre..

the price is listed in the Toyota website, that is fix price, unless u got toyota discount & free things and the SA offer some discount, u should go ask few dealers.
not sure about the interest rate now, go call & ask banks lo..easy & accurate. icon_rolleyes.gif

its ok to be water fish... every 1 sure got 1 or 2 time kena...

as long as dont rush in to buying something....

If you looking for performance & comfort go for 15" u will be surprise with the performance.

price for ps3  15" is between 230~250 but for 16" saw some member post price at 400...

some time getting rims and tire in the same shop the deal maybe mix cheap rim expensive tire or expensive rim with cheap tire...

for the rim the best deal i know for 15" is less then 1k per set ....and 17" per set will be less then 2K...go window shopping tire shop... get some idea 1st...
*
i see u guys discuss about ps3 15" so i wondering.. erm
is tat much different wit 15" n 16" using same ps3 tire? other than ps3 which tire will do comfort+performance?

i go for some shop asking price after trade in my ori rim+tire they say still nid to pay around 1.5k if im gonna take 16"
erm... any idea or recommend?
