QUOTE(walabies @ Apr 26 2010, 08:57 PM) Lol, this thread already starts to becoming a place for advertising... unfortunately ppl like me have to depend on honest advice by experience users here I feel audio hardware is the hardest hardware to buy as we can't just follow numbers in the spec sheet only (unlike graphic card, CPU and other computer hardware)

That's why we always recommend those buyers to go and audition them first to decide their sound pref. Jaben M'sia is a very nice place for that

Still overall investment on headphone/earphone are alot lower than computer stuffs (to the point that audio stuff sounds good). And it's rewarding to the ears hehe.

I think the problem here is that, if a seller is selling a certain range of product, and a particular item isn't the best that suits a person's requirement because there are other better product out there. Will this seller be honest enough to actually let the user know that about other product? Or will he continue to push his own products despite the fact that its not the best choice.

that i'm not sure...
for me... i prefer if i could manage to find a place where i can auditioned most of the headphone... =) in fact i can do that in jaben msia ( sorry if i seems to promote it but they do carry from low-range to high-range headphones and other setups... not all but quite extensive range of products ) but yeah... if at mac store/sony centre... they hardly let us play with the high-end setups and only let us try those low-end demo sets... T-T and in fact they also have limited displays...
as for sellers who would push their product... it's the same as everywhr else... they need to "makan" also mah... =) surely they would push the product they are selling rather than outside products...
but yeah... i prefer the buyers to auditioned first... then buy from whoever they prefer lar... =)

( juz get those flight convertors which is like RM10-15 ) so u can use any type of headphone lar... 1. Audio Technica ON3 2. Audio Technica FC700 3. Audio Technica M50 the above are some portables u can look into... =)
