QUOTE(space1x @ Dec 18 2009, 12:07 AM) If you're adventurous and have substantial budget, try out the M50 as well. Personally I've heard the BOSE QC series and wasn't even a hint impressed by them.Do PM Akabane@DrJackel or Edifier for arrangements. |

Ish.
They should have demo units out there, try them out then you'll know if they suit you or not. The headphones do clam a little, in which in return does provide some isolation to outside noise. |

QUOTE(garygothic @ Mar 14 2010, 03:09 PM) between philips SHP2700 and sennheiser hd201,which 1 is better?Any comments for these headphones philips SHL9500, Sennheiser HD202, Audio Technica ATH-T22, ATH-T44 and Sony MDR-XD200? Which of those headphones gives balance sound output? On the contrary, the ATH-T22 has a really annoying nasal and veiled midrange, unless you like that. Can't say for the ATH-T22 because I haven't actually heard it yet.For under RM150, circumaural, I would highly recommend the Philips SHP2700 actually, as it's an all rounder, the highs are slightly prominent giving it a little more detailed feeling to it. Else, you could always give the Sony or the T44 a try and report back. |

QUOTE(OrCaGaL @ Mar 15 2010, 04:06 PM) Really? Does it have a very good bass like the Sony? I need the boom boom in my ears but don't boom the rest of the sounds away la.. Yeap, the M30 should come by to be your liking. It wouldn't be overly boomy, giving out strong bass, and does isolates a little with the pads it uses as well. |

Gibe the M30 a try. Avoid the SHP8900 and HD201. Basshead and gaminghead is the priority Senheiser HD201, Philips SHP8900, Alienware TactX, Audio Technicia ATH-M30, Razer Carcharias This post has been edited by Enigmatic: Mar 16 2010, 06:28 PM |

Whow. Typo on my side. Give = Gibe.
SHP8900 is rather bass shy and bright. HD201, from what I have heard (no actual direct experience with it as I've bought the SHP2700 instead), is again, bass shy, and since you can stretch your budget around RM200, grab the M30. |

Bass can be an added nuisance sometimes in gaming, heck, I even had a friend telling me details was a nuisance, cause he can hear all the vehicle burning, wind blowing, etc etc distracting him. Hahaha. Well, I guess it's true for some people, probably really depends on the type of game they play as well, and how they're used to listening in their gaming process.

QUOTE The atrio has an emphasis on the lower end region, creating nice, layered, deep low frequencies that would be delightable for people who listen to bass heavy songs, the mids are slightly recessed, setting the listener a few rows to the back, creating a more backstage like performance which will be more favorable to some, and, the highs are presented in a musical, fun manner, that doesn't pierce the listener's ear, yet in the same time reproducing enough details for a fun listening session. |

I had both, and I personally find the SHP8900 more comfortable. Your mileage may vary though. |
