Yeah, I have a pair of C&J Cavendish in suede and a pair of Alden in the col.8. Both very easy to pair with clothes, but are on the casual side of things. I found the dark brown suede to be a bit easier to go with anything.

Ok great and good choice you have there.

May I ask if your wear socks? if yes, what type? Normal length or boat socks?

Thx

Depending on the context I guess. When wearing proper trousers with jackets I'd wear over the calf socks, and with chinos and more casual stuff its usually no show socks.

Leather soles are meant to be walked on. They just feel better to me. If it weren't for the fact that my gait eats up the toe way too quickly, I would have just left it as is.

For years I've been trying to get a cobbler willing to install flush metal toe taps. Was planning to buy them myself online from the UK. But about a year back I found a few Japanese cobblers on IG that do this with rubber. And I finally got a local cobbler to do the same for me.

I really can't express how happy I am.

Lovely. Adelaide brogues are still on my wish list.

Fun 'fact'. The salespeople at P Lal don't know what an adelaide brogue is. bangwall.gif

Nope, MTO by Double Monk in Melbourne where I currently am at. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif at how people who work at a shoe store doesn't know what an adelaide is. I think it goes to show how much of a gap there is in those areas back in Malaysia. But then the question again - are people willing to pay for it?

essenn shop

Does anyone here familiar with this brand, according to the seller it's a local made shoe, I found their FB page and did asked the seller on the shoe details, their shoe is constructed using Goodyear welting, and the top end product is using stacked leather sole and top grain leather or Nappa leather (seller said it's a painted top grain, price slightly higher), which price can go up to RM1.2k/pair, u can also choose a lesser price material to suit the budget.
