just got back from ted baker london, in pav
was wondering if their shoe range r any good, in particular saw their derby brogue, but the leather sole seems very thin, unlike good year welted which may be an issue for use
was considering importing in a Grenson brogue

Nice, which ones specifically? Would be nice to see the package when they arrive. smile.gif I believe they include trees and a tin of shoe cream with their Herring shoes. Not sure about the other brands.

metoo - working cuffs can be a fashion statement for the posers who leave them unbuttoned

evilnickwong - if i were to buy a shoe made of high quality leather, it would have to be goodyear welted. otherwise the upper might outlast the sole.

absorb-d - looking good. how was the packaging?

free shoe horn and wax

Hi, I plan to start investing in some real men shoes since I am graduating soon. I used to wear sneakers during my studies years.

I wonder where should I start? My optimum budget would be around Rm1k per pairs, is it sufficient to get a quality shoes?

Should I start investing in shoes tree first?

How to determine the quality of the shoes? leather sole? specific brands?

personally i think plal store is a bit on the steep side
websites like herringshoes.co.uk / pediwear.co.uk offer good prices, but i guess u cant try em on physically
they offer VAT refund but take note on the taxes shipping into the country

Hey guys, I just bought a pair of Cheaneys from Plal but there doesn't seem to be Cheaney's branding on the sole or inside of the shoe. Is this normal?

I can't find my exact model from the pictures on the main website too...
