yeah too bad C&J have stopped supplying Plal
am planning to get the lowndes in dark brown but Plal have run out of stock for my size and so i'm thinking of ordering either from pediwear or bodileys

i know u've got a pair of lowndes. if i wear size 9E on the 341 last, do i stick to that size on the 348 for the lowndes??

not sure abt the 341. better u ask Syam himself. as for supply of C&J, if i am not mistaken, they still have stock but they just can't sell it online? i havent been there in a while to ask them abt it.

if u refer to plal's website, they have listed available sizes in stock for the c&j handgrades only.

it also says "if we don't have your size, sorry we cannot order it"

looks like no more best prices in the planet for us anymore hmm.gif

New stock comes in only once per year in a big container.

Added on June 20, 2010, 1:36 amIt's the same thing with Loakes. If your size isn't in stock, you have to wait till new stock arrives. Which may be many months.

Added on June 20, 2010, 5:46 pmThose interested in the keychain shoehorn may get them at Daiso IOI Mall Puchong. They have about 8 pcs there.

they have limited stocks left and i dont think C&J will replenish anymore... which is pretty sad and yeah they can't sell online anymore

Oh I remember now: they are certainly discontinuing C&J. They said it only sold online, that the local walk-in demand for these are minimal. They do sell lots of Cheaney seconds and occasional Loakes for walk-in customers, and those are what they will continue to carry.

dropped by at Kulitkraf today as i was around the area...
went there with the intention to pick up a pair like bikervoodoo's as they looked pretty in his picture especially for that price.

showroom was located next to their factory and they sell other leather goods like briefcases as well
was not too impressed when i saw the shoes though... very poorly made and shoes were displayed with inches of dust on them
i have to say bikervoodoo gave his pair a really good shine as they look great in his picture smile.gif

walked away disappointed as i thought i would have my first malaysian made pair of shoes... oh well

Oh yes you need to give it a series of polishes to look acceptable. I am thinking of brown brogues or brown suede brogues for my next shoe purchase. Not kulitkraf.

BTW here's an interesting chart.

Apparently the Magnificent Bastards believe square toed shoes are not evidence of being an 'MB'. hmm.gif

Mr. Moo is the name of an SF forumer. Anyway, according to him, that particular pair is made by C&J for Polo Ralph Lauren.
I say he definitely aged it well. Look at all that character on the leather! From the creases to the patina. Just brilliant.
