mostly mobo maker concentrate on the amd chipset to be pair with the proc..
even asus, nvidia chipset lover, slowly change to produce based on amd chipset

yup old.. nowadays really hard to see nvidia chipset on amd mobo..
some also not good..

quite surprise they support it until that extends.. owners since 2005 eligible to request it..
the most variety of platform can be used.. very loyal..

i can't see any coolers maker support their customers until like that..
most of them abandoned just like that.. still remember same zalman cooler use for s754/s939 cannot be used on AM2 just becoz of mounting.. and ofcourse hard to get it far from being FREE of charge..

instead rebrand it with more high price..

qimonda, very loose timin, cas 9, max @ 81x~82x iirc
elpida, moderate timin, cas 7 as shown, cas 8 should be able to hit near 800.
hynix, dunno, but judgin by history, bt/dt-43 in ddr, yp something in ddr2, their chipset is not capable to do tight timin but decent @ high mhz w/ lax timin

i mite be wrong thou as i'm oso a newbie in ddr3...
