nanti your i7 'brother' come see this thread hantam you baru you tau... tongue.gif

Actually it depends on what type of user you are...

1GB, enough to run a decent OS with little amount of intensive program can be use. rolleyes.gif

2GB, the standard of two years ago....still quite ok if you are playing less intensive memory hogging programs notworthy.gif

4GB, the minimum standard for enthusiast and professionals, and not forgetting the x64bit is a must...whistling.gif

6GB, is nothing really, is just i7 utilizes them... laugh.gif

8GB, the normal like 2GB 7 years ago, good for gaming, vid n sound editing... thumbup.gif

16GB, video and sound editing, huge graphics application, good in 3D work...Or if you are running a dedicated server with databases more than 20GBs'

32GB, like the above only double the amount of memory reserved for the application...

64GB, the minimum to enter Super Computer league

128GB, takpayah mimpi lar nak pakai... doh.gif

ECC ram with higher price meant for server if I am not mistaken, the Essential 1 is good enough for you I think,
but why looking at those 1066mhz, I thought you aim on DDR1333mhz ram?
