greetings, new 955BE user reporting in.

i've had issues wif my proc rite after doing some mild oc, all set at auto even for the vcore. occasionally my pc tends to freeze and forced to force shutdown. even worse it can't boot after a couple of times and i need to clear out the cmos

jz now at boot screen, it says my oc setting failed so it's obviously my proc's the culprit.

and btw, there's a func tat enables a TLB bug fix in the bios, iinm its for the older phenoms?

my current version is v1.8 n it supports 955 officially but the newest version is 1.9. i need sum1 who uses the same mobo wif me a feedback

or is it something wrong wif oc methods?

i usually jz bump around 2MHz after running it stable or shud i reduce it to 1MHz at a time?

currently priming at 3737MHz, 18.5multiplier. yea, i guess all i can do is getting it higher

but i still kinda blur on HT and ram, still fix at auto for both

my question is, did these 2 bottleneck my clockspeed?

wanna sleep liao n current speed at 3.819GHz jz like -pWs- said on the stock vcore.

done priming @3.819GHz. i'll stop here for the moment, will try again by next week after getting my 5870.

a question here folks, is it ok if i cleared out the cmos and wanted to revert my oc setting directly to the max, jz like the current 1 here? i'm afraid tat it can't post jz like b4

is there any complications to the mobo/proc?

my next step now is rams and nb, but still quite blur on tis even after reading out the guides hope sum1 can point me into the right direction n i'll start it from there...



non air cond room but its raining here n contributes to the lower temp, yesterday afternoon it usually max at 55'C
