I dun think is a ram issue else, i dun need to power down the PSU b4 starting it up again...because all this change to my system, all has shown similar sign...when reboot after a deadly overclock settings during Prime95 or 3dmv, the PC shuts off and never wants to boot again unless I switch off the wall socket....time for 1k PSU kot... sweat.gif laugh.gif

I used to be able to undervolt my 550 BE at 890MHz 0.75v and run it at full speed at 3.75GHz 1.4875v using K10stat, which runs perfectly. But now when it transitions to a higher P-State (from 890MHz 0.75v to 3.75GHz 1.4875v) my PC automatically restarts. Previously it wasn't like this.

I assumed K10stat was corrupted or something, but it was the same when I reinstalled a fresh copy, along with testing PhenomMsrTweaker. What could be the problem?

software error perhaps.. do increment of voltage first, then follow the clock

Jumping from 890MHz 1.0v to 3.75GHz 1.4875v does not cause restarts, and neither from 890MHz 0.75v to 3.75GHz 1.45v. The reason I'm confused is why it worked in the first place. The last action I did was running Prime95 for a whole day since 8AM, it hanged at around 1PM and I only knew about it at 6PM.

IIRC amd low stated @ 0.8v.. below that it's somehow to go standby..
so in the sense of that if occurs any fluctuation then cpu have no power..

because the voltage supplied is too little for certain speed than of course it sleep.. laugh.gif

CnQ's specified voltage during low frequency mode is 1.0v, but it's probably just a safe estimate for most of the retail processors to work that way. I'm guessing that the processor can't take the steep voltage change?

sepatutnya 3.2GHz bukan masalah besar untuk 7850 sebab saudara pakai mobo ganas macam asus, board rog (board kelas tertinggi) lagi tu... faktor2 yg mungkin menyebabkan ketidakstabilan ialah:

1. suhu cpu yg terlalu tinggi
2. suhu nb yg terlalu tinggi
3. ram, sama ada timing terlalu ketat ataupun frequency terlalu tinggi
4. frequency nb/ht link yg terlalu tinggi

sila bekalkan screenshot (my vocab in bm really doh.gif nowadays) yg mengandungi maklumat2 berikut:

cpu-z > tab cpu dan tab timing memory
hwmonitor > maklumat2 tentang voltage & suhu untuk cpu & komponen2 lain... tongue.gif

phew.... my primary school bm teacher must be proud of my bm... laugh.gif

could be.. coz certain speed not been supplied by correct voltage during load..
don't forget about the component being degrading though..

Added on November 11, 2009, 5:17 pmasus not easy to tame i can tell you..
u need a guts to proper tweaking the ram timings..
