I don't think many can help you re your iPhone clone. Most, if not ALL of us here use the original sets and we definitely do not encourage the purchase of clone sets.

Best is for u to check with the people who sold u the phone.

10 sec call drop? So meaning if I'm having a conversation with U, i need to limit it to 10 sec?!

not really have to set 10secs. Whenever I call someone, right after 10secs of conversation, the line will drop. So I have to call again. Second time call no drop after that. I dunno why. Pop-in my simcard to other phone and it seems the problem doesn't happen. Might thinking that my Celcom simcard is faulty to use with iPhone.
Apparently, if I insert Maxis simcard into the iPhone, there is no problem at all.

Just now that I realize that whenever I'm at EDGE area, the call will drop. Still troubleshooting though

You can capture the screen by pressing power button and home button at the same time. It will then stored into you DCIM folder.
Then use utility like DiskAid (Mac) to transfer to MacOsX. As for Windows utility, you can check at pinned thread there. I'm using MBP though

Have you swap in another simcard? Troubleshoot!. Cannot just telling us the problem like this and we may unable to help

I got my iPhone 3GS yesterday and having the problem since then. I will get the sim card replace today and see how it goes. However, I have been using iPhone 3G for few years using the same SIM but no problem. PLease advise. Thanks.

Troubleshoot by inserting another simcard into iPhone and check whether you have the call failed again.

i believe it's more to a network issue rather than the issue with iPhone itself. (from my past experience, on Maxis)

Your iPhone screen capture will be in your Pictures folder. Just import that when you connect your iPhone to PC and you'll haf it migrated to ur PC

I just bought the phone 2 days ago and upgraded to 3.1.2 yesterday. I have restored all my past 3G data to this new phone. I can still make calls and access to Internet but call failed or internet failed are happened quite frequent. I did not jailbreak or anything on the phone.

Need to check on something..

Sometimes I turn off 3G and on to edge to prolong battery life...My problem is when I turn on 3G setting back, the phone will display no service........ In order to get back the connection, I need to turn off the phone and on back.. Then only i get the srvice with 3G signal..

Is this a common things on I phone 3GS...

Problem Encountered : while im not using the phone to make calls or sms , even the phone is slept or awake i still couldn't receive any call or sms from others. Until i use my phone to call or sms ,then ill receive all the miss called message n other ppls message. Meaning , my iphones signal like it will automaticly turned off or slept while im not using it to smsm or calls.
Steps Taken So Far : non .

IINM, fellow forummer, tnsai faced similar issues. no such issue on my i3G on Maxis though.

Disabling EDGE as in, amending the APN protocols is it? I noticed on the i3G when you do something with the APN, U will need to start your phone for it to work. However, calls can still be received. At least this happened to me before.

As we've mentioned, do some troubleshooting and report back when U've done it. Have U oredi gone to Maxis and got them to give U a new SIM card?

i have the same problem.I am on 3gs on celcom.In my apn i have set celcom3g.Do i have to or just leave it empty?

the peeps over in whirlpool have also expressed their disgruntlement, because the said app is not available in the oz app store.

Just wait for a while it will get signal. Happens to me sometime, no need to turn off the phone.
