Is there tutorial on internet tethering on iphone 3g? Somehow the option is not available on my iphone settings --> general --> Network .. It is suppose to be there right? im on OS 3.0

If u feel like upgrading, then by all means, do it. Not much of change thou, but feeling its better on 3.1 than 3.0. Surfing the net is now a breeze.

Basically pap lacks in terms of functionality and games.

With iPhone, you do wonders. In gaming I have multi touch and accellrometer control. Beyond what pap can do.

Games, app store have abundance and there is free games. Paid start at 99 cents.

n u r so lucky if after upgrade ur baseband is 5.8(mean u can unlock it using Fuzzyband)

Been searching in the forum but can't get accurate answer. By the way, as you all know in certain thread here, got some of us had a problem with iPhone 3.0/3.01 with Celcom 3G with call dropped and call failed. Anyone that encounter this problem have the solution?

Jailbreak with redsn0w 0.8
Tried to enable/disable 3G, EDGE, Caller ID so on and so forth using SBSetting.

It is quite annoying when you called someone then the calls drop within 10secs. But I had no problem with incoming call. Thanks in advance.

hmmm... my setup is exactly the same as yours. though i did not experience calls dropping though... touchwood... could it be phone faulty or? did you try using a different sim card or different operator to test out your phone?

And you're using Celcom? I don't think it is faulty iPhone because I had no problem whenever using Maxis. Haven't try DiGi though.

Anyway, I got a friend with the same problem as me, and I am using 128K 3G sim card.

Yeah, surfing is indeed a lot faster. However, at times the WIFI connection would not respond even though it is connected. At times it would drop off and then reconnect. Maybe it is my router. However there's a lot of such complaints over the Apple iPhone forum.
