anyone tried playing wave files thru USB to AVR

i have..., with 8GB Kingston thumbdrive ...not bad le, still get the excitment

no need switch on BD or CD,
its Fantastic even the AVR LCD can display the Album folder/song title too

just another way of "simplicity" listening

any Brand, be it, Onkyo, Denon, Pioneer with the USB input, shud be able to play, but dont know what file format only

i'm planning to get a RX-663, any idea where i can find it coz everywhere i go, they say no more already...sighhh, or better still can you'll pls suggest something with similar or better performing AVR's? my budget is within 2K, maybe can stretch a little bit...say 20-30%.

the replacement model is RX-V665, but i think should be way above your estimated budget

I used to like yammy but with pricing of new models I just stay away.

Why not the RX-V565 if the 665 is above his budget?

665 can get it at 2.3k (cash)

663 was 1.8k and more or less the same as 665. see what i meant? for 1.8k u have to downgrade urself to 565 if u still want yammy.

Bro, you forgot to take "inflation" into consideration , last time 1.8k not equivalent to 1.8k nowadays
