if you really want to enjoy atmos,the easiest/simple way is get atmos av receiver/processor

I aldy got the atmos avr yammy 2040 but i cant get the atmos fomat instead i got 7.1 dolby true hd

What is your source ? You dont need a new BD player just for atmos. You just need to set the player to bitstream and your yammy will decode the sound. As long as your AVR can detect the atmos encoding from the source it will work

Ya forgot maybe the ahem disc is the culprit, i am playing expandable 3 that come with the atmos format but whatever setting still cant get atmos. Is it the main culprit.tq

I don't think that movie had atmos. So far I only know the last transformer and hobbit had atmos. Of course the latest avenger had it also

Bro.this movie really got atmos on the disc n even amazon is selling this movie with atmos format but i can get the atmos format, maybe need some setting on the yammy avr side

On AVR everything is pretty much auto detect as long as it is bitstream from the source. Use pure direct on the AVR to be sure all is decode on the AVR

Something to read on Atmos. There is no need to have any special player to play back atmos. Just any normal blu Ray will do

if use pure direct mode will disable atmos but not sure with yammy avr..
