Live Update : I'm there right now waiting for my polishing done. The price for the 2 layer is actually Wax instead of polish and at the price of Rm40. It'll be Rm47 if together with wash and vacuum. Since I'm still a student and after some negotiation with the guy over there , He decided to charge me Rm80 that includes polish , wax , wash , vacuum and I think it's still pretty normal rate though. blush.gif

Update 2 : Everything's done and it looks great. smile.gif

Help me troubleshoot something... 4g18p... waja... crankshaft not good already make the pulley shaking... erm... my foreman said that would easily cost over 1k to repair... haizzz...no money so don't care... another problem is my steering seems to shake when I am driving over 110km/h. Did anybody have any idea about this problem? And my car steering giving some "shhhhhhhheeeeeee" sound when turning while in stop condition means the car no moving... And if I turn, the steering feel like it wanna turn back to middle by itself... is it normal?
*
for the crankshaft, i dun think theres any DIY troubleshooting. best to leave to mechanic la. Your steering shaking at high speed is most probably due to unbalanced wheel. take to tyre shop and tell them u wanna do balancing. should cost around rm 5 per wheel.

the "sheeee" sound when turning is quite normal la. its the power steering. but i dun think it will turn back to the middle itself when ur car is stationary. it will turn back just ABIT when u turn to the max and let go. hope this helps smile.gif

unbalanced wheel is one thing.. ur using standard rims or u've changed into bigger size rims?
yup the "sheee" sound came from the power steering.. maybe the oil is at its limit.. try changing the power steering oil..

crankshaft => leave to reliable mechanic...

shaking steering => do balancing at tyre shop
=> make sure rim not dented

streering sheeee sound => normal

steering turn back to middle => understeer if not mistaken....

Try to apply pressure to each of the spot of the absorber and see if it rebounds fast enough.

Anyway , my signal lamp which beside the fog lamp burned out , anyone know what socket it used ? Thinking to get those Polarg white type. blush.gif

its ok.. but lots of things to look into.. if u change into 17".. ur stock abs. is not meant for bigger rims thus it'll die/kong faster also depend on how ur drive.. plus without lowering ur car u gonna hav problem on cornering and different comfort level.. tyre selections also gonna effect the comfort.. if too thin can feel every details of the road.. lots more actually if list it..

open pod go for K&N and other good brands.. also must hav proper heat shield.. why don't go for drop-in less mod needed..

bro, you definitely need to change the rims tongue.gif
changing to sports suspension setup should be ok. but the ride will be very bumpy with stiffer suspension + low profile tyres. imo, 16" with profile 50 is fine. i am using the stock 15" rims with 205/55/r15 at the rear and the cornering is great!!
by going for open pod, you may need to install a CAI with good filtering that channel the cold air direct to
to air filter. else, may end up sucking those hot air generated by the running engine instead doh.gif
either k&n or hks will be fine.

From what I know , HKS have good air flow but extremly bad filtration so please think twice before buying it.
Your choice will narrow down to Apexi or K&N , it's your choice. smile.gif

Anyone smoked their headlamp ? Planning to do it after raya by EA Autoworks , want to join ? biggrin.gif

For full flush for AT, we will need 7 liters of ATF?
What ATF is recommended?

If brakes need to be depressed really deep to stop is it just the brakepads or can it be something else?

Usually all darker color car fitted with smoked headlights which makes me feels they seems more suit for it. Hopefully you guys can share a picture of smoked headlight with a light silver waja. biggrin.gif

If I'm not mistaken , it only takes 5 liters of ATF. ( Even full flush , not all ATF fluid will be flush out )
Recommended ? I would use back Proton ATF. smile.gif

Darker color ride definitely looks great with Smoked headlights , even better if with CCFL. Mind share what you have mod with your car ?
