called .. a guy answered .
i told him can claim for dead pixel. he said " can can ,u bring here check check"
then i said only 1 dead pixel. he said " no prob no prob just bring here check check"
and then i said i flashed my phone, still got warranty?
he said " oh flashlight problem ah ? bring ur camera here check check " doh.gif

as a point of argument, i guess flashing the firmware will only void any firmware related issue. If it's a LCD/screen issue, it shouldn't void the warranty of the whole machine. unless if the said firmware is proven has some sort of feature that will fry the LCD that in turn creating dead pixel, hardware related issue should still b claimable.

G1, G6 and G7 are official Malaysia firmwares. H3 too.
My factory firmware was G1 but no longer using it. Now using Wm 6.5 IJ6.

Yeah, i've the same problem. You need to install a few times, maybe reboot in between. Then it'll work. Don't ask me why.

anybody knows how to run the garminXT under landscape mode? it run on portrait mode by default which is pretty annoying..
