Had this superb pda come 3 weeks now and is still performing superbly. Can't wait for the official wm6.5 to be released come Oct 6. Hopefully Samsung can do their official release within the same month as well.

One thing for sure is that no matter Brightstar or FMG set you still can bring in to any Samsung Service centre for firmware upgrade & servicing.

I got my set here from Brightstar too. The person who sells to me guaranteed that I can walk-in to any samsung service centre for claiming and service if i prefer to or can bring it back to them. either way.

Andrewtst, any laggy part with pointsense? I really prefer their UI then SPB but just worry many malfunction area & lag.

finally got my Omnia II a CAPDASE silicone housing over the weekend from LYP with price of RM60 that include a screen protector. Nice and tight but the side buttons are harder to press now.

Yupe, according to scofield got it at RM 49 from digital mall. It is very nicely fit, problem is the buttons at the side are much harder to be pressed now. U need to press it with all your mighty power. lolz.... Suggest u to tryout out 1st before buying it.

Just wait for the PDAir then, why waste RM 50 when later u can use either one only. Furthermore I think PDAir would be better since it has a softer silicone case making it easier to press the side buttons, the only different here is this Capdase is transparent and that's about it.

I tried the New PC Studio as well after reading your msg, and YES! it says my device need an update and I proceed along to download the file. It is downloading now but is terriby slow. ANyway, i didn't get to use the backup provided as it says my device battery is not sufficient to do backup even I have around 60% battery level. weird...

UPDATE:
While waiting for files to be downloaded, I notice the update details. It is no big deal actually as the update I believe is still WM 6.1. My current version is I8000XXIH3 which is original stock version and the update is I8000XXIH5, thus still WM6.1 if not mistaken.

Finally upgraded to WM 6.5 with NPS 1.4. Previously I was using NPS 1.3 and gave me option update till IH5 which I believe is still WM 6.1. Total download + update process about 3hrs, the phone automatically restarts few times before finally showing the orange color WM6.5 splash screen. Now I got to re-install all da applications. argh.....

I find that sometimes it is quite slow to show the WM 6.5 LOCK screen when I pressed the UNLOCK button on the side. Didn't had this problem when I was using Samsung UI LOCK screen last time.

I encountered twice before, both occasions happened with my bluetooth paired & activated. Entire phone like freezed and I cannot do anything and it is still ringing. I am not sure what causing this, hopefully is something to do with bluetooth connection.
