Thanks! doh.gif I thought 'Change Skin' is to change background color/picture, so never bother to press it!

AS for the Samsung Widget Plus, what i meant is , is there a way to drag those widget into SPB homescreen?

Nope.

Just play around every single part of it, you may find somethings you want. This is what I always do when installing any new thing in phone.

No harm testing.

1) No direct way of creating NEW SMS - default Samsung interface goes into WinMo with clunkiness that requires like 3 steps to create new SMS.
Solution: Create a shortcut link to the TMAIL.EXE(with parameters) and dump it into the \Windows\Menu folder.

2) Sorting of contacts by Last Name, then First Name...doh.gif I wonder who remember people by their surname first...
Solution: Use a software called 'Contact Changer v13'. (Thanks to the guys here!)

3) Cannot foward SMS!!!
Solution: The option is hidden in the Reply->Foward menu option in WinMo SMS...really stupid design. Solved by VITA SMS. So easy to use!

With SPB 3.5, the usability is so much better, but i miss something from Samsung widget though. Can i get those widget to run in SPB 3.5? Like Yahoo FInance...this is very useful to keep the fav stock code in the list.

Any ideas??

I've updated with secany's latest ROM but then the threaded SMS seems not right. It groups the message I received in one thread and the message that I sent in another.

So, in my inbox I have 2 threads, one is from the sender and one is to the sender. Any fix for this?

Edit: Oh my bad..I manually replied the messages. I just have to continue as in IM.

i use martin field for the screen, very clear and smooth, but it is fingerprint magnet. however, very easy to wipe off. it comes with lens protector
body protection i use PDAAir flip type leather case. Dropped my Omnia II once but nothing happen luckily. wonder if the leather case protected her. thumbup.gif

just wondering, is it easy to upgrade from wm 6.1 to 6.5? I feel like getting a SG set but then worried that I might not know how to upgrade it myself..if fmg set then i can just send to the service centre and make my life easy tongue.gif

Omnia screen color is 16M, however because of WinMo 6.1, it limits the screen color into 64k.
do winMO 6.5 have the limitation?

It's actually pretty easy to do a self upgrade. Just did mine last night. I am usimg SG set btw.

I believe the hardware supports 16M but then the 64k is the limit of WM6.1. I also read that WM6.5 fixed the limitation but I'm not so sure about this. Correct me if I'm wrong.

will your phone connect to 3G when u launch the garmin mobile xt ?
anyone with the solution ?

btw SG set got limited warranty. Go for FMG for the piece of mind.

In Garmin Mobile XT, access Garmin Online in the settings menu and check whether it is disabled or not.
Also, install NoData and use it to disable all access points except MMS.
By doing that, you will still be able to receive and send MMS but won't be able to access the internet via 3G/EDGE/GPRS except via WiFi.
