its video quality is low , and you cannot choose in settings for better quality video , HTC youtube player allows you to select better quality or better speed , so it is useful to have htc youtube player .... I tried it last time , it didn't work also it keep saying buffering than it gives an error.

Wow the phone can throttle the cpu speed and everything? nice! Samsung really did it with this phone. I want this phone but I am hoping for it to reach below RM 2k first.  sweat.gif

Yup that make me feel worth it to get Omnia.. i'm satisfied.. the phone of course laggy, bcoz running with 2 UI.. Win 6.5 and Samsung TouchWiz.
If you want to minimize the lagging.. go to start/setting/display and light/items on today/ disable windows live search n windows live. maybe it can help.

Help! I've setup to e-mail account on the Omnia ii, 1 is an Outlook (not working due to incomplete settings) and 1 is a Hotmail account. However, it always tries to connect to 3G/GPRS when try to send/receive e-mail even when WIFI is available!

I tried to delete these accounts but the 'DELETE' function is dim and i can't delete it!

Anybody has an answer??? Can soft reset solve this? How to do the soft-reset again? I can't find back the steps... cry.gif

OR you can set the mail to be retrieved manually. or you can go to setting-memory setting-clear memory. this step will revert your phone to default setting and delete all your data.

To set the schedule. Click start-email-'select the email account'. Then click menu-options-'click the hotmail account on the account tab and you should see the {send/receive schedule} option. Click it and set to manual. hope this will help smile.gif

well, battery's life depends on several factors ( including the chosen cpu performance, backlight, 3g usage, wifi usage,.....). Mainly, I use mine to sync with exchange server, several hours of wifi, listening about two hours of music everyday. with the cpu performance set to auto and backlight turned off i need to charge my battery in between 1.5 or 2 days. If you use 3g broadband it will drain your battery much more faster

What does delete all data means? Contacts? Installed apps? Photos and videos took with the camera? Will these be deleted also?

Yes it is possible... you can install a cab call NoData to disable auto connecting via GPRS/EDGE/3G/HSDPA

Here you go http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-verizo...d-programs-faq/

I don't think you can remove all Samsung related programs. Let me give you a good example, you won't be able to make video call once you disable Samsung dialer skin through registry editing. shakehead.gif

You can use NPS for that if i am not mistaken it does also back up SMSs, or use Resco Back Up.

BTW just a suggestion here there are too many people asking the same question in this forum, like :

what is the price of the phone in the market ? 2,399.00 RM offical FMG correct me if i am wrong.
Should I upgrade to windows mobile 6.5 ? in my opinion yea you should.
Should I buy omnia ii ? yea it is great but if you hate win mobile stay away.
What does it come with ?
people keep asking and complain about touchwiz lag , and always someone comes along and says use SPB.

and stuff like that , i am suggesting to have these regular questions with the answers included in the first post, so we don't get so many unnecessary posts.

Basically creating a FAQ , so u guys can go ahead and suggest questions with their answers.
