I try to copy some games and application into phone (installation is not needed) and how can I create the shortcut for that apps to locate at the front page?
*
You can use Resco Explorer to create shortcut (*.lnk file) and put it in \Windows\Start Menu

But bcoz of stupid maxis setting and support, I cannot access to Maxis wap portal. phone said i need to change browser setting to Maxis 3G WAP instead of using Maxis Internet or Maxis 3G Internet. Any body know how to figure this out? I don't have any problem surfing the net with Maxis Internet setting though.

Help! I've setup to e-mail account on the Omnia ii, 1 is an Outlook (not working due to incomplete settings) and 1 is a Hotmail account. However, it always tries to connect to 3G/GPRS when try to send/receive e-mail even when WIFI is available!

I tried to delete these accounts but the 'DELETE' function is dim and i can't delete it!

Anybody has an answer??? Can soft reset solve this? How to do the soft-reset again? I can't find back the steps... cry.gif

based on my experience.. 1st time setup the outlook like crazy..until now.. it still access to 3g\gprs when i send\received email.. same like u.
but i recommend u to use windows live application to access your hotmail..
and also register for microsoft my phone.. exclusively for hotmail/live account. it will automatic sync your email when u sync your microsoft my phone.. try it..

Which NPS you are using? You need NPS 1.4.1 to upgrade to Wm6.5 and you may get it from Samsung SG website

Win7/Vista do not use Active Sync, they use Windows Mobility Center.
You will face problem in upgrading your phone if you are on Win7/Vista. Upon finished downloading the ROM, the NPS will report fail to update for no reason. I faced this before and gave up. I used XP and upgrade process was very smooth.

Well the today screen is quite laggy , but the rest of the phone is fine , and it is responsive.
You might want to try it at the Samsung shop before you go and buy, if you use windows 6.5 default today screen than it is not laggy at all , and people here mostly install SPB shell which is very responsive and fast.

Hi.. I'm just wondering.. If we install SPB mobile shell, it will just disable the TouchWiz home screen, right? all other features like the menu, sms, etc will still be using Samsung's?

Totally right unless you use registry editor tool to disable default samsung skin apps which has some consequences (e.g. no video call, unable to send mms). Depending on how you mod your phone.

i have my eyes on this phone, wanting to buy this phone soon, but i have one question, instead of using SPB mobile shell, why dont you guys just upgrade it to 6.5 WINMO?

if we go to the authorized samsung dealerto buy the brand new phone, do you think itll be installed in 6.5 WINMO already?

For me the Cube is not lagging it is quite responsive and i use it for my multimedia needs, especially it is better since i upgrade win mobile 6.5 , Touchwiz ui is not lagging just the samsung touchwiz today screen is lagging cause of the widgets the rest of touch wiz when you are accessing files and folders is fast and responsive, and the Samsung Menu also laggy, which i have disabled and use windows mobile start menu.
