i wouldn't put it down solely to ballack's absence, but the squad issue is a serious one. without essien, who's been a MOTM contender for each game he's played so far (save for a couple), we look significantly weaker. i hope ancelotti has something up his sleeve. maybe lamps will step up when the time comes.
*
in lamps we trust... he is goin to step up soon, i believe carlo will make a major tactician change due to our lost. that was sloppy, indeed.
so, i heard alex i coming? i really hope he is goin to replace riccy for the time being, no doubt our greatest wall and rocket launcher? tongue.gif

he should leave. he will only be the 4th choice striker behind kalou. even kalou aint playing regularly now. they have simmilar built and style imo. the current sytem employed by carlo favours big striker that can hold play and create their own scoring chances. that is why drogs and nic are playing now. kinda reminds me of ye olde Gillardino and Crespo type player Carlo prefers when he was at milan

you sure are straight forward. but he is one of our produce, me and most of the fans would like to give him a chance to prove that he can fit into our striker's list. he is after all pretty big built, but his style as you said, isnt really the drogba type. we have sturridge for that tongue.gif

i kinda feel that ballack bring alot of stability to our squad this year. He defend, he pass, he attack, maybe is because lamps not yet perform.

Second that, Ballack is the only one who is comfortable in the diamond system. We lack stability without him around.

franco gets my vote of confidence. i think he's more the drogba type, while sturridge is a hybrid of both the ivorian and anelka. laugh.gif i just wish blackburn could provide him with better service on the ground, so he could showcase more technique with his feet. i'd definitely reject any request of an extension from sammy. if we make steady progress in the fa and carling cup, hopefully di santo is happy enough to bide his time in those competitions.

its good to see rival teams losing but im more worried about our own performance. besides, this is still the group stage and they still have a chance to make it to the knock out rounds.

UP THE BLUES! LETS SHOW ATLETICO WHO ARE THE BIG BOYS OF THE GROUP!

wow. you sure are confident. i'd be happy with the 3 points regardless of the score. all i really want to see is a solid performance by the players. at the back, in the middle and up front. if we look solid, its good going back into the league this weekend.

yes. what we're missing now is a scoring midfielder. deco and malouda does not seem to be doing the job of scoring goals as we can see last weekend.

I think lampard is doing more passing & defending job due to a change in formation(diamond) compared to the old tactics? Most of the time when he gets the ball, he would pass them instead of trying to shoot.
