Anybody got letter from UiTM for the CAT interview on 17 May?

Selangor sunway is run by sunwaytes,Ipoh and JB sunway is run by sunway college

For me the best in sunway is paper 2.5 under Ms.Menon..she's great, her coverage and interpretation on the standards are excellent..+her notes too...
at 1st i was in systematic (haneef)and i cant follow his class(maybe im the only one)and compare haneef notes to menon..menon notes is more clearer..juz to make u understand and score..but for 2.6 sunway,its really quite not comfortable la..i cant accept his style of teaching..so,sometimes its depends on individual and lecturers,which one that u feel comfortable and enjoy with...hope choong kwai fatt will be teaching next intake (julai)..btw,anyone knows when does his class usually conduct?weekend or weekdays..or either chow chee yen is preferable too..

ya,for me,i have glance through haneef note also but i also not quite like..
i attended Keith's class last time.even though some comment that he cannot finished the syllabus,but i like his approach very much,his note is systematic and step by step and i get a clear approach in getting what he want to deliver...i think i can get good marks also becoz of him...
about choong kwai fatt,still need to confirm with him whether he will have class next sitting,his class is usually conducted weekend,alomost every sunday and with some saturday with a whole day class from 9am-5pm like that..normally for next sitting he will start in august,so by june or july u will know whether he will conduct any class by email him or ask the systematic college...

yea..gotto admit,menon is the best,but listen to this.
menon told me that, she is gonna quite teaching 2.5(financial reporting) by next year 2007 jan..
for those who are doing 2.1 till 2.4...you are in luck..
reason is bcos she is teaching ICAEW and 3.6..
time clashes...and her task is heavy...she gotto teach at kuching too...


reasons why it's harder to pass in sunway and tarc's bcos..
there are different examiner for different college...if i am not mistaken...correct me if i am wrong..
for sunway, it's the first premier plus status college outside the uk..
so, the uk examiner basically expect higher quality from sunway.
i've no idea why tarc is also hard...that's what my lecturer told me..
beside, tarc have internal and external paper...

i am revising final exam..but i heard that last term, kasturi's spotted section was very clear.. almost everything was out..
for business taxation(2.3), everything spotted was out..even 2.1...
wonder if anyone have the tips from BPP or from any colleges? mind to pm me?

i wanna to know more about kasturi ... coz i plan to go there..
anyone here studying there??
as i know , Kasturi College just like the tuition centre rite ? how's the facilities there ?
i wonder all other colleges of ACCA is like tat ??

yes,kasturi just a building,no campus,not all tuition provider like that,for example tarc.sunway,inti.they got campus but for FTMS,Kasturi and Mc Orangr then just a building lo,no campus life ...depedns on what u want lo..

yah,i heard she said this before,im my class currently...this is because by 2007 syllabus is changing and Standards will be revised..and she's tired of all this changing.. lucky for me she will be teaching 3.6 for my 2.5 current batch..by 2007 wow,different markers for different college?so is it benefit to take outside tis Premier plus status?so marker is not too strict...

LCCI to ACCA good ernot

coz no matter LCCI or STPM u also enter the Part 1 only...
and with STPM,u might get an option to get into the local uni if u wish..

becoz he is taking STPM now ma.so not that good stop half way and go into CAT lo..

CAT more susah then LCCI. n if i take both CAT n STPM it will be suicide. i took LCCI as my accounting foundation. might go into a finance degree or CFA later on local u maybe? ni way cooly n xcrue u all got plan take CFA ernot?

i am not taking CFA coz it is too hard to pass and i have not much interest in Financial Analyst...
