who's teaching 2.5 at sunway?can we attend a single class(just for 2.5)rather than sign up full for the college.? i still searching for a tution provider for 2.5!! beside haneef at systm..cuz for PAAC clash with 2.6 wit sheila at mcorange lor...

Hi, I am going to start studying at FTMS this coming jan intake for P1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and 2.1 full time.. any one can provide me with any information about the lecturers there?? are they good??

2.3 i was used to be taught by steve chia.. he was featured in ACCA Focus Newsletter.. he's now the youngest executive director in PwC.. too bad he isnt teaching anymore.. he's very very good.. very organised etc

bistarina is at the hong leong bank building near central market.. u know APIIT was(maybe still is) there? i also dunno which floor.. my fren told me bout her 1.. i din attend her class bcos i started off late n she doesnt have catch up class..

IRC=intensive revision class.. u must look for lecturer that is famous which willl come from UK... 3.5 it's Michael  Mainwaring.. 3.7 is by Steve Lumby.. u can check McOrange if they r still arranging the IRC this sitting.. McOrange were the one that brought them here last sitting..

FTMS also at central market there.. next to watson.. the one nearby hang kasturi's mcdonald.. pusat tuisyen kasturi block C there..

3.6 is actually very standards based.. u must know most of ur standards.. and basic knowledge u get from 2.5 also very important.. about tuition class.. i dunno which 1 lor.. i've only attended ms.kala's class at PAAC.. other lecturers i've heard bout is haneef at systematic.. n keith farmer at FTMS.. i wont recommend keith farmer if u r weak in the subject.. bcos he teaches pretty quick..  haneef is pretty good i've heard 
btw,y u guys 20 yrs old only start study CAT 1 ar?.. u guys do what in between the yrs after SPM? so syok 1...

but now i feel and wanted to change field ..
2nd is my parents feel tat accounting field have a more secure future ..
i mean in terms of you'll get a job anywhere
so i won't wait for the results due to release at the end of February and apply to enroll for ACCA instead

How much would the fees be for CAT - CBE examinations ..

Is it around 200+ .. or Do i have to pay the 30 pounds + the CBE centre fees .. which adds up to about 400 bucks ??

Those examiners are local foreigners?I heard CKF said they are well paid,approximately Rm10k for marking lolx

haha.. i direct go CAT then ACCA after SPM ma(but had like bout few months break.. started my CAT in march actually.. so my CAT took longer than it was suppose to be.. usually ppl use 1 yr, i use 3months for part A,6 months for part B and 6 months for Part C plus 6months just to pass my C4-tax.. and yeah the syllabus changed after that).. so i took 1 yr n 9 months to finish CAT. and then 2 yrs to finish my ACCA.. fast meh? i got a fren started with me, he graduate 1 yr earlier than me.. a fren of mine graduate this sitting with me n she's 1 yr younger than me?.. i think i'm average lar.. bcos got so many ppl faster than me 

i started in PAAC and ended in PAAC.. only 2.4-2.6 i took in FTMS
examiners are paid well.. but not as well as famous ACCA lecturers.. if u r a famous lecturer, u definitely can earn more than the examiner
bcos PwC is the biggest ma.. and the best lor haha.. other big 3 got nothing wrong lor.. EY & KPMG i dun really feel like joining.. malaysia's deloitte is like, not really big.. i rather join BDO which is relaxing and pays ard the same amount of money..

i know i know.. audit it tough n boring.. commercial is so much better etc etc.. but trust me dude, everyone i met through my studies told me that audit firm is the way to get a fast successful career.. this is bcos the training and the pressure and also all the exposure u get when u r doing audit... especially in big firms.. the OT u work and exposure u get.. is many many times fold.. u work audit line 3 yrs to get ur membership, when u come out to go commercial at that time, u probably have experience that is equivalent to 6yrs.. LOL..

audit also open our mind to see how ppl do things in real life.. how ur clients hide, treat their accounts etc etc.. plus, u can easily build ur contacts for ur future career purposes..

fuh, if he can get into the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountant in England and Wales), i really him lo. afaik, that's the most prestigious accounting body in the world, no?

and as for me, i'm joining the bandwagon...hehe. currently majoring in accounting and finance, and by the time I graduate, I'll be exempted from 9 of the ACCA papers...actually the whole exam got how many papers? 14 right if i'm not mistaken...?

wow... my fren who is brilliant got 89% for CAT P5 & 84% for CAT P7....

She is gonna take over M'sia Prize Winner la.....

hehe the interview went terrible.. 2.1k i think.. that's standard isnt it? havent got the offer letter yet.. they gonna mail it to me.. i'm going in as Assurance Asso... which industry i also duno.. she say will be mentioned in my offer letter...

other than most of the time facility is broken , the lecturer is not motivate cause of lack of salary by gov , it is middle of no where lack of exposure , food over there usually take time to get used to , mostly are malay no mixing of race
