QUOTE(General_Nic @ Oct 6 2009, 11:01 PM) AF-S is with build-in motor AF-D is auto focus capable using in camera body motor pls check 1st page post for technical terms meanings I'm an owner of D60 for quite some time ago, but never got the time to play with it frequently. I would like to know, for D60, I must get the lens with build-in motor? I'm planning to get the 50mm f/1.8. Approx RM1000 I read from prev page? 0.0

QUOTE(faiz92 @ Oct 8 2009, 01:17 AM) Rm370-RM420 The one u mention is AF 50mm F1.4 I'll be totally free next month, so decided to learn more on photography. The only lens that I am currently owning is the kit lens AF-S 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6G DX This AF 50mm F1.4 work exactly the same way like this lens? What the difference btw F1.4 and F.18?

QUOTE(General_Nic @ Oct 6 2009, 08:56 PM) i think u mean the AF-S 50mm f/1.4, price about Rm1800 I think it cost about RM1800 Quite expensive. Isn't it better if I upgrade it to D80, so I can use lens without the "-S"?

Pardon me for my shallow knowledge. 17-50mm Tamron have everything that 50mm Nikkor offers? Also.. how much is 17-50mm Tamron? Is it fully supported by D60?
