I got mine for RM35 from DirectPhoto, Brunsfield Business Park, Jalan Cheras KL. The Matin straps comes in a few variation either straight or curve type and with or without fast clip. But DirectPhoto only has the ones without fast clip because of the reliability of the clips.

@castrodesauza: Why'd you need S90? Don't mind to lose out on some IQ (Image Quality) to lose the weight of your ultra-heavy 1D MkIII?
@davidmak: Thanks for the information. May I know what's the difference between straight and curve type?

Sometimes there are cases that we still need to use PNS cameras for our daily work (standby pocket sized camera, can bring anywhere, anytime). There are times that IQ matters, else I believed in capturing "moment". Basically this camera is for my wife She can't even hold my MkIII steadily when capturing images...

May I know what's the difference between straight and curve type? The neoprene strap/padding area comes in a few shapes straight and curve. The straight type as you would guess it is straight while the curve type is shaped to fit your 'neck lines' so you'll feel more comfortable. Basically I don't see a difference between the two variants. They are comfortable anyway. I remember a friend here mentioned the Matin strap is too long to his liking. For me, its a little on the short side. Maybe due to the way I secure the camera. I follow the Olympus way of securing the end strap 'within' the ties so it doesn't go astray and start poking eyes. Hehehe...

Wait until you hold 1D MkIII + 70-200 f2.8L IS (1.3kg + 1.5kg = 2.8kg!) in a wedding ceremony or at zoo (around 3-4 hours). Can patah tangan even though I have changed to Matin neoprene strap (curved). I seldom hang on my shoulder or neck, usually just strap around my hand (for easy handling). Wish to have longer neoprene like strap, but not from optech (too big, and doesn't suit to my nature of bringing the camera around). This post has been edited by castrodesauza: Dec 6 2009, 07:23 PM

I have to acknowledge that they may be comfortable but their large area would only cause 'sweat spots' for me.
