I would like to know what is your baseband version. I am not getting good signals so i thought of changing it. I am using an European baseband now.

How to check?
Menu -> Settings -> About Phone -> Baseband Version

My version is:

Thanks for replying. How is your line reception? Clear? Did any of your friends complaint about the poor signal?

Can you describe what you mean by poor signal? Is it the signal always switches from 3G to edge? Or line is not clear and there's pocket of silence/spike in your conversation? Or sometimes there's full bar but people cannot call in?

The reception is so nice,in jogging the sound also clear..

I can confirm HTC Hero is RM1999 at Mid Valley :-) Idk the included package tho.

Rm1999 is a steal, bought a 2mth old unit for rm1750.

i think i saw one seller in garage sale selling rm1899 new but singapore set..

Are you guys talking about original set? Got AP sets around RM1850 right?

12. Wipe your Hero. How: Wipe > Wipe data/factory reset. Wipe > Wipe Dalvik-cache.
Note: Factory reset. You know it.


i had error while wiping Dalvik-cache. what does it mean? (i stoped here restore the whole thing again. back to square one) sigh

im using hero ...

nope, compared to my se c902, its pretty much the same, that's the reception for my call signals, as for 3g, i dun install the settings frm maxis after rooting it, jst really need the mms settings, therefore me oni got mms, so, sorry can't answer u that on 3g internet signal xD

I can't seem upgrade to Modaco 3.0. I have run the files via Recovery Console and both the Enhanced ROM and boot sound are shown as successfully installed. Currently on MCR 2.9. Help!

yes..i can feel this HTC signal is not as strong as nokia or SE phone. Even i using the latest radio ver. The signal only improve marginally..

just flashed to MCR 3.1c with latest radio rom..
very happy with the performance and no lag at all..

My friend here, do u know how to setup digi MMS ?
