But when i open Prime95,there r 3 modes.Which 1 should i choose?And how should i know whether the overclocking is stable anot?
The 3 modes r
Small FFTs In place large FFTs Blend
And CPU Vcore = CPU voltage?

I have 2Gb DDR3 1333Mhz Kingston ram only so wat value should i put? As for other settings? Number of torture test threads to run = ? Min FFT size in K = ? Max FFT size in K = ? Run FFT s in place = On or off? Time to run each FFT size = ? Memory to use = ? Btw,in previous post,u tune ur Vcore to 1.456V to achieve 4.4Ghz right? How much V do i need to get 3.6GHz?Should be lower right?Perhaps 1.25V? And yea,i saw u posting the memory part.Do i need to configure the ram frequency as well? This post has been edited by Duckies: May 20 2010, 01:10 AM

I c..thanks for answering. Final 2 questions How much should i put for memory in use as i has 2Gb only And should i tune the voltage and frequency for memory in Bios?

Hm..but i dont really know wat should i tune for the memory. Some say leave it at default. Some say tune it to 1312Mhz because it u need to tune the memory frequency lower a bit.And then the memory voltage.

Im running almost the same spec as yours i3 530 with 2gb Kingston 1333. Those rams are able to achieve 1600mhz clock

How low of a voltage could an i5-750 go at 3,2 Ghz with thrbo boost ON? not only the core but also PCH and another setting?

The article shows that the reviewer got 4.4GHz with just 1.344v? Heck I need 1.356 for 4.27GHz moreover 4.5GHz is not recommended? I believe with 4.4GHz stable at 1.344v, a few notches up for the vcore will do it right, just to get 4.5GHz? Is my assumption is not right here?

QUOTE The combination of Gigabyte’s P55A-UD7 and the Core i3-530 was amazingly stable at all times, except when we tried to cross the 4.5 GHz line. This was just too fast for this particular processor.
As you can see in the diagram above, the Core i3-530 overclocked to 4.2 GHz delivers the highest power efficiency, expressed in performance per watt-hour.
Going beyond 4.2 GHz requires significant voltage tweaks that negatively impact efficiency. You should only do this if you really know that the remaining speed upgrade delivers real benefits. According to here,it's said that they were facing unstable overclocking when they tried to cross the 4.5Ghz.Perhaps u can reach 4.5Ghz but not more than that. QUOTE The article shows that the reviewer got 4.4GHz with just 1.344v? Heck I need 1.356 for 4.27GHz Haha then u might tune ur Vcore lower a bit

Guys, I have a question here: When i run my processor at 3600mhz (200x18) , my rams are able to clock at 1600mhz. But when i overclock it to 4ghz ( 182x22 ) , the rams are able to run at 1092mhz but not 14xxmhz Any ideas? Do i need to pump more voltage to my mobo / rams? My ram voltage is stock btw. Secondly, is the processor safe to be run at 1.275V @ 70C max? Thanks..

The ram thing i have no idea, but for the temperature,it's still ok.Mine runs at 89 Celcius(which is not ok to me!) at 3.6Ghz 1.2V coz i stress testing it.100% work load plus fan rosak tat time XD
