I am using the msi P55 GD65 and an i5-750. I just have a small oc, 3.2GHz with turbo on at 1.188v (BIOS, CPUZ says 1.144v). I get 55C full load (25C delta T) with a c/m Hyper 212+.

It should be okay if you dont have any crashes or bluescreen. Can you lower your voltage further? I am not really "pro" about the new clarkdales but i think you can lower your voltage a tad bit. Is speedfan accurate or what? You are getting 37C running prime? What is your cooler?

How low of a voltage could an i5-750 go at 3,2 Ghz with thrbo boost ON? not only the core but also PCH and another setting?

I would like to ask you all about ocing an i5 750. I am currently running it at 3.2Ghz with turbo on. I think I want to push further (and turn off turbo) but I can't prime95 it on 1.252v 180x20. I am using a P55-GD65 and running DDR3 1333 that is somewhat limiting me but I did run them at DDR3 1600 for a long time now.

I am curious because I am running 1.407v on my msi P55 GD65 with an i5-750 at 3.8Ghz (200x19) and a VTT of 1.361v. Is the setting allright for continuous use or i should raise the VTT and lower the vCore? The temps are quite low, around 75C with my Hyper 212+.

I mean what should i set? Maybe my VTT is a little low to be stable? Is your proc running at 3.8GHz?

Is my VTT too low? It is at 1.366v now.

Added on January 14, 2011, 5:46 pmActually the Vdroop of my board is very high. When i set it to 1.407v, it will drop to 1.344v when stress testing. It will crash easily if it get any lower. I alredy enabled the Loadline calibration.

The Vdroop happens in LinX more noticibaly. It only drops to 1.360v in p95. And is p95 stable enough? Or I need to pass the LinX test too?
