if u set it auto yes i can be drop till below 1v..if u set it manually then it will stay at ur desired voltage.lots of review OC i5 mention on disable all those extra feature like speedstep, c-state and etc.
im not sure why if set voltage at 1.26 but when prime crank up abit.mybe had to do with loadline cab..still learning here hmm how can be ur ram crank up till 1.9v?intel recommend bellow 1.65 v. try setting the ram voltage manually.. This post has been edited by BigSaver: Jun 9 2010, 04:10 AM |

Dram DATA Ref Voltage On CHA
Dram CTRL Ref Voltage On CHA Dram DATA Ref Voltage On CHB Dram CTRL Ref Voltage On CHB On certain ASUS mobo in bios settings, it says tweaking those are gonna help in overlocking RAMs, but do you guys actually use that? In most circumstances these are set to AUTO. So can anyone explain how the increment in milivolt(?) will help? Also how much maximum mV is on the safe margin to tweak? I'm a sissy when it comes to overclocking RAM... they always die in my case
Overclocking CPU, I can go with try & error. I'm asking for exact figure for tweaking Dominator GT 1866 C9 CMT Kit on Maximus III Gene BIOS 1801, I can boot them at 2000MHz@9-11-9-27 1.65v into windows 7 64bit but after awhile will BSOD even not yet stress it. I have tried to increase the voltage to 1.75 but it is still the same. BTW TurboV shows that all the DRAM CTRL/DATA Ref voltages are 0V, yes 0. Btw abg, you banyak mobo uh? I tot u use MSI or something This post has been edited by Vigilant: Jun 14 2010, 07:38 PM |

i guess it had to with imc.
did u increase the imc V?supposedly ur GT shud be able to reach 2150mhz with cl8(so jealous looking at this rate, based on bro hengmy ram OC result) mine need 1.36 v on imc to make 2000mhz cl8 stable. i just tested 2 board only, GD 80 and this M3G.
