What phone should I use to disable pincode?

I have nokia 6300 but it cant seem to disable it.

Really need to sim lock from preventing my iphone data restore.

your suggestion does not work. I also try using maxis sim card, there is no error, but it didnt display any signal at the signal bar.

Now restoring my iphone, and see if i still face the same problem.

just a reminder.

my celcom sim card kaput while restoring to 3.0. cant be read on any type of phone.

but iphone software update was successfull. just need to find another working sim card to activate the iphone.

I had install SB settings...but where shall i go to in order to disable edge because there is no application on my spring board

Always read the infos when you install any applications from Cydia.

*SBSettings has no icons. To launch SBSettings, slide your finger at the statusbar where your time/carrier is located. This will launch the program. which is posted in this thread: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/868281

Just disable it by selecting the EDGE icon and it will grey out. If you need to use it, enable it again.


Launch Safari and see if you're connected to EDGE. You'll get a pop up stating "Cannot Open Page" when EDGE is off.

thus no MMS button ?

Hey bro, there's actually no MMS button. The MMS function only accessible with the camera icon next to where you type your text in Messages. Place the MMS settings from this thread http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1061070 and see if the function is available after a reboot.

The theme is called iElegance and you can get it via Cydia. Been using this on 2.2.1 too and now 3.0.

Just slightly which is very common since 2.2.1 or earlier firmwares. I'm alright with it. Users choice at the end of the day.

Does anyone know if it is possible to unauthorise a pc... i reformatted my pc and authorised it again and its saying i have authorised 2 of 5 pc remaining...

too late. you should have done the de-authorisation before reformatting your PC.

Ya, freaking suxkk. MMS not include for 2G. Hardware limitation? My god, swirlymms able to work in 2G in a limited hardware condition while apple can't. This is marketing purpose!!

I'll be in Malaysia for about 6 weeks and I was wondering which 3G service provider is reliable and value for money. Basically I need about 100-200 MB quota for 3G for 1 month, send about 10-20 sms a day and make a few calls a day. If tethering is included, it would be a nice addition (how much is the additional cost if there are any?).

Currently I have an Optus unlocked iPhone 3g with 3.0 firmware. Also, do the prepaid services come with 3G or would it be better to go with a short term post paid plan? I'll mostly be in the Klang Valley area especially the KL city centre if it helps.
