Btw, just to ask if you are able to help some malaysians to coordinate a GW2 CE pre-purchase from EB Games and send to Malaysia.

The last time i ordered a CE edition game from EB Games Australia, it was nothing but massive problems. Back then I ordered 4 CE editions of WoW catalcysm from them, for myself and friends. I opened up the box to check if everything was there, and 3 out of 4 of them did not have the CDKEY inside. So i took them back to the store, and asked them for replacements.

thats where the S*** hits the fan, they would not provide us with replacement products and told us that, the issue was by the distributors. So i called up the distributors and told them the issues, and they pushed me back to EB games, vice versa for 4 times, and got so fed up, and just blasted at the distributor. Which in the end the management called EB games to settle the issue. In the end after a day, the distributors called me and provided me the keys, and told me he would resend a replacements (DVD with key) to me, until now I have not received the physical product replacement.

So I suggest that you might want to find other stores or region that can help. Perhaps QVS itself not EB. Also, isn't it more expensive to get it from AUS compared to the States at the moment?


**edit: if i wanted to get a CE edition i never ordered from EB ever, usually other stores that provide them.

Yes. But you can also get the keys via regular play so it doesn't matter.

Anything in the cash shop is purely convenience.

It'll occur as per usual (every (2?) weeks). I'm not too sure on the details but its not an event per se. Should you choose to change worlds, you will be unable to participate in the subsequent (and/or current?) WvWvW. After that you can continue as normal.

dunno. I'm willing to bet that DEs will be a clusterf*** of 100s of people and it will either be epic or lagfest. PVP should be hosted on a different server and subject to queue times. And besides, in GW being good in PVP directly impacts your PVE skills.

hmm you got a point there, but going to pvp straight away will be hard because you need to unlock weapon skills first right?

It's pre-purchase, not pre-order meaning that you pay full price for the game. If you do buy it, you get to join the upcoming beta weekends.
