Caught the trailer when it was just released (twitter wins!). By the looks of it, most of the rendering, graphics, landscaping and model texturing is done (if not all). We'll probably be seeing GW2 pretty soon. Now tell me, how does one save enough money to get all the slated 2010 releases!?

Will be getting CE too. I think ArenaNet deserves the money and the game seems very polished.

Its playable even up to 500ms, just that you will feel your skill executions becoming sluggish. 200ms to ArenaNet is equivalent to play on a Malaysian server. At least that's what I feel.

Not too sure if I like the new profession though. Only time will tell if it can live up to GW1.

IF ArenaNet follows tradition, they will have what you call Districts. There will be the Asian, European and North American districts and you can go between any of them to interact with players in each district. Obviously playing in your own district has better latency, but normally you feel little lag on the NA districts anyway.

^This is from GW1. We'll see how it goes in GW2.

Gonna emphasize on this. Also, only a complete idiot will bot on an ArenaNet game. Once you bot even for just one hour, you can be sure they will ban your account. There is absolutely no way to get it back, and future accounts also get banned IIRC.

Boon Control got schooled by ANet

Guild Wars is one of those games you can not play for like 2 months and still come back and pick up where you left off. Plus you don't feel compelled to play cause there ain't no subscription fees nor must-grind-now content. In fact, if they follow GW1 tradition, the most you miss out on are PvE hats.

• Elite Canthan Armor

Fastest way to 30 I believe. Relatively easy lah, bar the stupid obsidian armor which I've been trying to get for a year already.
