will like to see that.
Most of the time actually only need flood. Very rarely do we need to see things at a long distance at night. Unless search and rescue or something. But in the true spirit of flashaholism, get both!

Hey I just went thru your previous posts! Sorry really busy these days... =(

I'll just add what I think about Eagletac. Mwahaha!

Sorry to say this but Eagletac does have some (quite serious) design issues. The good part is that they honor their warranty and they are fast to fix their problems. =)

Here are some examples:

The old P/T10 series had a HUGE problem with lens breaking. Many have reported it and it was due to a horrible design. But it was fixed soon after it was discovered with silicon inserts. =D

The M2 series had that horrible strobe that was soooo near the max. It also had water leakage issues. But it was fixed even faster than the lens issues.

The P100 series has many off centre emitters and donut holes in it's beam. Also reports of weak anodizing. This probably has been fixed too.

So... conclusion is..

Eagletac has design issues (a lot of companies have this)
Eagletac has good warranty and fixes problems with whatever issues they have.
My hybrid T10/LC2 rocks.
Buy Eagletac without worrying.
I love the P100 cos it's cheap, awesome and now... (drum rolls) comes with neutral white!!!! Lalala whistling.gif

Haha, polkiuj, I got T20C2 RGB KIT Neutral White yesterday, no problem so far, beam not tested yet. But it looks good tight hot spot with the SMO reflector, and the OP reflector is smooth.

So far so good, just a issue not problem, it's reverse polarity protection design, it has a very short + node with a ring protecting it from reversal battery insert, so I have 18650 that the + node is recessed, so if you pump the flashlight when you on, it tents to off/on back, or when you twist the head to switch general mode from high, it might off too. Anyway it is fixed if use a proper 18650 + node (non recessed).

Anyway, it has a very nice CR123A tube, so using 2 CR123A is possible without battery rattle inside the body, nice design though.

The RGB kit is even better, very nice beam. Unlike Jetbeam, the SS Bezel cannot removed, the glass lens will not fall off, it was hold from the inside, which is GREAT design. Some lights when you change the Bezel, the glass lens is loose too, might fell off accidentally.

Agree, which light don't have an issue or design problem? My surefire E2DL has a issue in the tailcap string too, it was "Senget" a bit, and trigger on when you un-screwing the tailcap. and it is not gold plated!!!! cry.gif

You mean the positive node with a nipple right? I read somewhere can use a small screw nut to act as the nipple for the positive node. Not sure how to stick it... glue on the edge just enuf to stick but still have contact, though I dont think it's safe to solder.

Hi guys,

What polkiuj shared is true, regarding ET's past design faults, and it is fortunate that ET managed to fix most of it (strobe is too easily accessed though). Later batches of the '10' models has a redesigned head, which will hold and protect the lens better (like the model polkiuj has tongue.gif )
The anodizing on the '100' seems to be better on the new batches, but I still can't comment how it will hold up. I do know that anodizing on aggressive knurlings seems to be a bit weaker due to very small contact point for the anodizing to bond to the light. Either ways, keeping my fingers crossed on this smile.gif
For ET lights, the use of button top cells is required due to a physical reverse polarity ring.

PS: I feedback good and bad response to ET, including my own opinion. I am still an flashlight enthusiast first brows.gif

Don't have bro, just took the pic off the net.
Hmm, i think dx is fine. But lots of ppl have complained about them.
Best if u spend enough to get them to ship with a tracking number. I think minimum of USD80 or something like that.
